Andicuri Beach
The Basics
Conditions at beautiful Andicuri Beach make it a perfect destination for adventurous travelers who want to try kitesurfing, bodyboarding, or surfing. Reaching this secluded beach can be tough, so be prepared to hike in or navigate the terrain on an all-terrain vehicle. A guided excursion via ATV is recommended.

Things to Know Before You Go
Local bodyboarding competitions are held at Andicuri Beach.
There are no food stalls or restaurants, so bring your own water and snacks.
The beach is located near the natural bridge that collapsed in 2005 due to a storm surge from Hurricane Katrina.
How to Get There
Andicuri Beach, known for being one of Aruba’s most secluded stretches of shore, can be difficult to locate. It’s about 20 minutes from Oranjestad by car. From the Natural Bridge, take the first road to the left and then the first road to the right. After passing the Ayo rock formations, turn left toward Andicuri. ATV tours typically offer round-trip transportation.

When to Get There
Because the beach is secluded and tricky to locate, it doesn’t attract the same big crowds as other beaches on Aruba do (unless there’s a bodyboarding competition taking place). It is a hot spot for off-road excursions, but visitors on those tours don’t tend to stay too long. ATV tours typically offer morning and afternoon departure times.
Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations
Although they are basically just piles of rocks, the Ayo and Casibari rock formations are popular natural attractions in Aruba, with adventurous travelers climbing to the top to catch panoramic views of the island. The formations are free to visit, and are often included as a stop on island tours.
