Practical Info

The Dublin Writers Museum divides its large collection of literary artifacts into different exhibits. Items in Room 1 of the museum tell the story of Irish literature up until the 19th century and the beginning of the Literary Revival. Room 2's displays pay homage to the great writers of the 20th century. Travel to the top of the grand staircase and enter the Gorham Library, filled with first and rare editions. Next door to the library is the Gallery of Writers, a room decorated with busts and portraits of famous writers where special events and exhibitions are held.
