Ha Long Bay

Halong, Northern Vietnam

The Basics

Explore Ha Long Bay on a combination guided tour and boat cruise. Those with limited time can visit on day trips from Hanoi, which typically include a few hours cruising Ha Long Bay, stops at some islands and caves, swimming or kayaking, and a seafood lunch. For a more in-depth experience, opt for an overnight or multi-day cruise, spending at least one night aboard a traditional junk boat or luxury ship, and enjoy activities such as cooking classes or squid fishing.

Off The Beaten Track To Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay (2 days 1 night)
From the moment we were collected by bus in Hanoi to when we returned Sean and Brian ensured our travels to Halong Bay with Serenity cruises was smooth sailing. We were treated to the most wonderful service, incredible meals and the right amount of organised activities.

The tour was very impressive and wonderful. You can go hiking swimming and kajaking. Every single stop was great (could be much longer but I know you have to be in time...) Perfect for the price and time I think

Shore Excursion: Wonderful Ha Long Bay Day Cruise
Enjoyed the Bay cruise. Lunch provided was good as was the service. Bay is a lot more crowded than I anticipated and was in and around the vicinity of dozens of other tour boats at any one time, often tied together when letting passengers off to explore on foot.

Ha Long Bay 2D1N on a 3-Star Cruise
Two points: 1. If they had lower prices onboard, we would have bought drinks and they would have more profit as well. Instead the prices were really high and as a result we didnt want to spent any money on the boat. 2. There was no tai chi lesson, which was in the description. Overall a wonderful experience and good service for the given price.

Jadesails- Halong Bay & Lan Ha Bay Luxury Cruise
Awesome way to tour Ha Long Bay if you‘ve only got a day. The luxury vans are very comfortable and it’s under 2 hours to get to the boat. The boat is very nice and everything was just great overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do a day trip.

2 Days Overnight on Cozy Bay Cruise Ha Long
Overall the tour was very enjoyable if a little rushed due to its short nature. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the boat and the only recommendation I would have would be to inform travelers that a power adapter is required for regular electrical outlets.

Halong - Lan Ha Bay Explore Incredible Cave in 1Day Full Activities
I can highly recommend this tour because it seems to be less touristy and overcrowded. We had an own ship for the whole day, freshly cooked lunch and an excellent guide who explained us many details about our sights, the country and helped us to feel comfortable. On the ship we had showers, towels and reclining seats on the top deck.
