Es Vedranell and Western Inlets
Locally referred to as the sleeping dragon, the craggy Es Vedranell is an uninhabited islet off the southwest coast of Ibiza. Standing guard for big sister islet Es Vedrà, Es Vedranell, and its other island counterparts, is a part of a protected natural reserve with a rich, biodiverse collection of flora and fauna that call the rocky landscape home.
It’s worth spending some time hopping between all 10 of the western islets and their inlets, including Cala d’Hort, Cap Llentrisca i Sa Talaia Natural Park, and Es Vedrà, Es Vedranell, and Els Illots de Ponent Nature Reserves.

When to Get There
For warm Mediterranean weather, ranging from 75–85 degrees Fahrenheit (23–29 degrees Celsius), consider planning your excursion from May through October. The warmer months are considered to be peak season in Ibiza, so if you are looking to beat the crowds, plan a visit in April or during the winter months.
Cala d’Hort This beach on the western shore of Ibiza offers visitors relaxed sandy tides, azule waters, and stunning views. It’s a nice place to catch a few rays, watch the sunset, or grab a bite to eat from a nearby restaurant.
