The Caves of Hams are located a half-mile northeast of the resort town of Porto Cristo, on the road to Manacor. Tours of the cave are offered frequently throughout the day. Most visitors arrive as part of a guided tour, but some do arrive via taxi or with a rental car.

History of the Caves Visit the Caves of Hams and learn about 10 million years of history. The caves were discovered in 1905 and for the last century visitors have arrived to explore. There are distinct sections to the caves including the Round Cave, an open-air cave that is home to birds and a distinct microclimate; the Main Cave with 12 galleries of stalactites; and the Blue Cave that is lit with LED technology.
