We will head southwest along Provincial Route 86, enjoying the Cacheuta landscapes until we cross the tunnel that connects this town with Potrerillos. We will contemplate the wonderful view of the Cordón del Plata, Mendoza's main water source; and the picturesque Potrerillos Dam, a mirror of crystalline water in the middle of mountains. We will continue along this path, passing through tunnels and bridges, until we reach the town of Uspallata. Again we will make a strategic stop to get a better view of the Valley as a whole. Once we return to the route, the Aconcagua Provincial Park awaits us. There we will make a walk of approximately one hour, to the viewpoint of the Laguna de Horcones, where we can see the South Wall and the top of the highest hill in America. On the way back, we move a few kilometers, until we reach the “Puente del Inca”. Obligatory stop in this iconic place of our mountain range.

Through this tour we will drive through the mythical International Route 7, high mountain road. First stop will be the Potrerillos Dam, our water reserve, supplies the entire north axis of Mendoza, being used for irrigation, industries, human consumption. In Uspallata we will have a full breakfast to continue towards our next stop. Mount Aconcagua is the second highest peak in the world and the first in South America, depending on the present climate we can see it in all its splendor. From the base of the park we can see its eternal snows and take a slight walk to the viewpoints where you can capture the beauty of the colossus and all its context. On our way back we will make a stop at Puente del Inca, this beautiful geological formation contains several stories that deserve to be told and known by all, and it is one of the favorite places to take photos.
