The Basics

The private Blue Lagoon Island feels worlds away from Nassau’s bustle and can only be visited via a tour package that includes boat transportation. Tour options include an all-inclusive beach day and a Blue Lagoon Island Segway tour, with dolphin encounters and swim sessions with sea lions available for an additional fee. Meanwhile, kids will be entertained by the island’s aqua park, and the whole family can enjoy water sports like sea kayaking, tubing, and scuba diving.

Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day from Nassau
This was our favorite hideaway spot in the Bahamas. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The no-pressure-to-leave option was great, we had various times to catch the ferry back to our hotel, we loved it so much we decided to stay the whole day. This place was very relaxing and beautiful, the obstacle course made it very adventurous and different than the other beaches, also the option of picking up a tube without having to pay for it or stand in line was great to experience. We opted to do the dolphin experience and must say it too was amazing and unforgettable. The dolphins seem happy and well treated, they do not seem mistreated or overworked. Lunch was included in our package, but it was not very exciting, there are not many options available.

Blue Lagoon Segway Safari Tour With Lunch
Everything was going great until lunch time. Very organized at check-in and on the ferry. We took about a 20 minute ferry ride to the island and went straight to the Segway tour. Everyone there was great. Our leader was Waldon. He and his team were very entertaining and kept everyone interested. Segway tour lasted about an hour with several stops to take photos. Do wish we had more riding time. Then proceeding to head for the included lunch buffet to find out we were supposed to get lunch tickets at the office before we left. Had to speak to several people to get that straightened out. Reno finally helped us out, thank you! When we were ready to leave the island to head back, all the ferry times were messed up and there was a lot of angry, hot people standing around, but we eventually got back. Overall, not regrets, fun day.

Me and my husband came here as an excursion on our honeymoon, and we had a wonderful time! It wasn't very crowded, the food was delicious, and the staff was very polite and helpful! We definitely would like to go back in the future!
