We get to see a very unique animal in a very unusual situation. You will learn about the kangaroo and what makes it such an interesting animal. On top of that we normally get close (but not too close as these are wild animals) to a community of kangaroos that shares its home with a community of humans.

This is the only tour at time of writing that takes people to see urban kangaroos. You may see them in people's front yards, hopping down the roads, etc. We combine this the opportunity to watch the Pelican Feeding where tens of Australian pelicans gather to be hand fed by informative volunteers every day.

Did you know that one sixth of the word’s parrots call Australia home? 56 species of the 300 or so species of parrot are found in Australia, and only 5 of these are found elsewhere in the world. More than a dozen of these are found in Sydney and many are found throughout Sydney suburbs. On this tour, we will search for Sydney parrots in at least 3 different locations around Sydney. During the day we may see many of our colourful parrots that include king parrots, cockatoos, lorikeets, corellas, rosellas and galahs. On some days we may only find a few of these species, on others we will find ten or so. Often, we may also see other birds including pelicans, ibis, brush turkeys, kookaburras and magpies.
