Neue Galerie New York
Explore the museum’s galleries on the second and third floors. The second floor is devoted to Austrian art, and includes works by Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. The third floor is focused on German art and includes works by Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee. Don’t miss Gustav Klimt’s portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (Lady in Gold). Either of its two cafes—Café Sabarsky and Café Fledermaus—serving elevated Viennese fare, are worth a visit.
Opt for a guided visit to ensure you see the highlights. Some guided tours combine a visit to the Neue Galerie with stops at other New York City attractions, such as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and Times Square. Or visit on a hop-on hop-off bus tour and explore the Neue Galerie at your leisure.
