The Basics

Eze’s tiny size means it’s often relegated to a pit stop for those heading east to Monaco or west to Cannes and St.-Tropez, but the medieval village can also make a quieter base to explore the glitzy resorts along the coast. A full- or half-day tour from Nice, Cannes, or Monte Carlo often includes nearby villages such as St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Menton, or La Turbie.

Monaco, Monte-Carlo, Eze Half-day from Cannes small-Group and Shore Excursion
We booked this tour as our day excursion while on our Mediterranean cruise. We had a great 1/2 day tour. The town of Eze was lovely, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the perfume factory as well. Was a little disappointed that we missed the changing of the guards in Monaco. Monaco was absolutely stunning and the clean, opulent as you would imagine.

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, la Turbie Half-day from Monaco Small-Group tour
We were a small group as stated and Irene was so knowledgeable about everywhere we visited . Eze was amazing with a labyrinth of tiny artisans, loved perfume maker, palace and most of all narration .

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze Half-Day Tour from Monaco Small-Group Shore Excursion
Eze is well worth seeing. Enjoyed going there. Skip the perfume factory if you can. Saw as much of Monaco we could see in a short amount of time. I would recommend this tour.

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, La Turbie half day from Nice small-group tour
We thoroughly enjoyed our half day tour from Nice to Monaco with our guide, Maria. It also included Eze and other sights. Maria was so professional. Interacting with her guests, driving, explaining the history and details of all that we saw and representing your Company very well. We highly recommend this tour.

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, la Turbie from Cannes, 7H Small-Group Tour
I had a free day before my week-long tour of France began. I'm so glad I filled that day with this tour. Ben the driver and guide was a lot of fun. He was very attentive during the trip, picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel, described the sights along the way. The sights, the shopping, the options for meals were all excellent. Eze was enchanting!!

Eze and Monaco Private Half-Day Tour
We were in a cruise and had one day in Monaco and were A party of 6. We had the best. Our guide Mago was so accommodating even though our cruise arrival was more than an hour late. We went through Eze which was very interesting and beautiful and then through Monaco. We learned and so saw much in a short time. Great experience and highly recommend this tour!!

We really enjoyed our guide for this trip! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Eze is a neat little town, Monaco was beautiful and we could have stayed there longer exploring! Could have done without the perfume tour at the end.

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze, la Turbie Half-day from Monaco Small-Group tour
Carolina was a fantastic guide, excellent sense for what the participants are interested in and Thus “customizes” the experience and there is always place for a small joke;) As Monaco needed to be ticked off on my to-see-list, I am sure that I Saw everything worth seeing. As a service provider it has to be mentioned that the company is very reliable as well.

When to Get There

Celebrities, jet setters, and sun-seekers flock to the French Riviera in spring and summer, and Eze sees a steady stream of tour groups passing through. To avoid the crowds, get there early or stick around after the tour buses have left. Those wanting to soak up the atmosphere of popular events like the Cannes Film Festival or the Monaco Grand Prix will find Eze a good place to escape the masses, although be aware that accommodation, flight, and tour prices can soar during these busy months. Out of season, Eze is equally charming, but check ahead to ensure that hotels and attractions are open.
