With a maximum group size of 8 participants, we can guarantee an amazing and personal experience on the glacier. On this extra small group Glacier Walk, we visit one of Vatnajökull's many outlet glaciers in Skaftafell National Park. Before heading to the glacier, you will meet your expert glacier guide at our Skaftafell Base Camp, located on the campsite of Skaftafell National Park. Your guide will provide you with all necessary gear for the glacier walk, an ice axe, harness, and a helmet. When everyone is ready, we head to the glacier where your guide will safely lead the group through an icy wonderland with deep crevasses, narrow ridges, and other ice formations. We will have up to two hours to explore the glacier, giving us plenty of time to take pictures and make memories that will last a lifetime.
