Axel, our tour guide, was very good. He was very knowledgable and made the tour interesting. It was a shame that the tour was a little early in the evening to 'see' the heart of the Red Light District but still worth doing the tour.

The Best Tour and Tour Guide of the Red District!
, Mar 2020
The tour guide was chock full of interesting information about the history of Amsterdam and how it relates to the Red District. He was animated, energetic, funny, and friendly and warm, making the tour so enjoyable! I learned so much about Amsterdam, the sex and drug industry, and the neighborhood. Also, $20 for a two hour tour was a real bargain! I would highly recommend this tour!!
Knowledgeable guide, very interesting look into the profession

What an eye-opening tour! Our guide was exceptional and and knowledgeable (he grew up in the area) and made the best of the very cold, very rainy weather that we were given. Learned a lot about the history of sex workers and how the trade functions differently today. I am sad that Amsterdam will no longer provide these tours because education is very important for the safety of all parties involved.

Brilliant tour. The guide was just over the top. We learnt ever so much about the history of the red lights and drugs. It just makes you wonder about legislation in your own country... I do sincerly recommend the tour.

Despite the weather the tour was very interesting and the guide was entertaining sharing many stories, shame these tours are being stopped as explain the history of this area of Amsterdam and respectful of the workers.
One of the best tours I have been on

Absolutely loved every second of this tour! So interesting to hear all about the red light district. My tour guide was very knowledgeable, chatty and interactive! So sad it’s ended April 1st so if you’re heading over the Amsterdam before that then I definitely recommend you do this tour!
Enjoyed more than I thought I would

We had Charlie as our guide. I did enjoy this more than I thought I would, however, it was a very cold night and this tour involved a lot of standing around and listening. I wish we'd done more walking or at least found a warmer place to stand. Charlie did a good job, I do wish he would have had a hand up or something as it was hard to follow him in the crowd and several times we almost lost him and there were only 15 or so of us. I think this tour is for someone that wants to see the red light district but may be uncomfortable doing so by themselves, that seemed to be the clientele.
