Randy was a fantastic guide! He texted everyone in our party the day prior to our hike to confirm where we were to meet him and at what time. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the trail and the local environment. He pointed out things we would have definitely missed if we had hiked the trail on our own but didn’t “over talk” the hike, allowing everyone to enjoy the natural beauty. He kept a good pace for everyone, and also was happy to take photos for us when we reached the waterfall. We would absolutely recommend this experience! If we could give Randy a sixth star we would!!!

Randy was an excellent guide and had so much information to share with us. We had a wonderful hike and he shared tons of information with us. He even gave us other recommendations for activities we may also be interested in during our visit. My friend & I both enjoyed chatting with him and his tour. I definitely recommend!

I generally don't take guided trips, but this was awesome. My husband, grown son and I had a very informative and enjoyable experience. Emily was so excited to show us the plant life and critters along the trail. She did not make us feel rushed and took plenty of time to answer any questions. I am a retired elementary teacher. Emily was relatable to all ages. The hike was not too difficult.

Our guide, Emily, led our small group on an educational and easy walking hike to Catawba Falls. She met us near the entrance and was very knowledgeable about the history, flora and fauna. Good titip to go early to avoid the crowds.
