The staff was very nice & the food was abundant. Most of the food was lukewarm at best. The way the boat is designed is hard to see out.

Never made this trip. Asia Tours gave us the wrong pick up Information which resulted in us missing the boat. I tried contacting them and Viator on the night and on numerous occasions since, but no one has responded. I have another tour booked with Viator and I am now getting concerned whether this will take place Would appreciate someone returning my emails

Dear Tracey, Thanks for leaving your review. Negative reviews give us invaluable information to improve our services. Let me clarify what happened exactly. After booking this tour we send you a message through TripAdvisor Experiences telling you to take the shuttle boat from your hotel at 8pm. So you would reach the dinner cruise meeting point at 8.15 pm. You reacted to our instructions with an 'Ok. Thank you.' On the day of the tour you messaged us through that same messaging system at 8pm that you will not make it on time. I suppose you missed your hotel shuttle boat at 8 pm. Unfortunately the messaging system is not a hotline and we only saw your message the next morning. The messaging system helps us set up meeting points, pick up times, etc a few days ahead during office hours. We have a designated 24 hour hotline that is clearly written on your voucher. I checked our phone records and no calls were made on that night. So if you fail to inform us that you will be late through the proper channels, there is no way for us to know you will not show up. After the boat waited a respectable 15 min for you, we decided you were not showing up and took off. I hope this clears it up and that you understand better what happened. I wish you well. This was a great thing to do, Lovely traditional style boat and the service was excellent. They traveled a great distance up the river and didn't miss pointing out all the landmarks. The only minus was that the hot food was luke warm

Ok but uninspired. Friendly courteous staff but the food offerings dismal a poor example of traditional Thai food. Only high point was that the tour operator had to reschedule our booking and we received a bonus alcoholic drinks package this did somewhat make up for the meal. Hard to recommend.

Arrived on time at Center Pier as arranged, shown to our table. Very rushed with food which was Luke warm. I didn’t feel confident in eating the seafood but that was just me. The dancers and Kim music were lovely but quite often the waiting staff blocked them and stood in the way. It would have been better to be left to enjoy the experience. One member of the team was lovely the rest were very solemn and clearly didn’t enjoy there jobs. However, the boat experience and night views were enjoyable.

Nice cruise with variety of food. Could see from all tables and service great.only let down was transfer got us there an hour early leaving us hanging around dock. Guy sitting there who only made himself known approx 20mins before. This needs tidying even allowing for Bangkok traffic. Cruise itself great value for money, so if making own way go for it.

Traditional delights and sparkling lights

This was a great cruise. We thought it seemed more authentic than the big “light up” boat cruises we saw going by, and the food was delicious. There is beautiful traditional Thai music and dancing while you eat as well. The crewmaster spoke English and was very nice. We had trouble getting picked up because we booked last minute but we were accommodated on the later 8 pm cruise. The lights and sights are wonderful and our guide was knowledgeable about what we were seeing. We were given flower charms for luck that smelled heavenly and a take home history pamphlet about the river, the boat, and the temples. I think this was a great trip for couples and families with teenagers. Younger children could risk ruining the trip for other guests because the atmosphere is intimate. Thank you for an evening to remember!

The night lights along the river completely transform the Thailand you see during the day. The boat crew were very polite and professional, and the dancers beautiful. The food they serve has a very strong flavor palette and might not be for everyone. If you're a picky eater this is not the tour for you.

Please note that in this segment of dinner cruises in Bangkok, being a small scale rice barge with set dinner, we offer the lowest price on the market. The only cheaper options are buffet style boats with over 100 people dining together on the same boat. Our boat is a traditional, antique and rennovated rice barge with 40 seats.
