Your tour starts in Central Barcelona where you'll meet your private guide and set off on a culinary adventure that introduces you to popular goodies and Spanish flavors through eight food tastings and two drinks.

Head first to a local bar for a bite of churros with chocolate and vermut (vermouth), a current trend. Then enjoy pintxos on a street known for its pintxos bars followed by Catalan pan con tomate and some of the best patatas bravas in town at an old outdoor bar. Next up is a tasting of turron, a simple confection, before enjoying an enseimada sandwich and then a ham tasting at Mercat de Santa Caterina. Last two are traditional Spanish croquettes and a tasting of Spanish wine in the hip Barra de Ferro.

As you go, you'll see sights like the Raval district, enjoy the atmosphere of the city, and listen to insights from your guide about Barcelona's culinary scene.

Delicious foods and wonderful locations. Thomas was very informative and showed us the best places in town for great chocolate, wine and tapas. We had great conversations and we are really glad to have met Thomas as we learned great things about Barcelona and it’s local food. We would really recommend a tour with him!

My tour guide was Karina. It was really a private tour with just me and my friend. Karina was wonderful teaching us so much about the area letting us spend as much time as we wanted and the food and wine tastings were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Karina you won`t be sorry.

Zuzanna was great

We made five stops. We had three hours originally, but told her we needed to cut it short be 30 minutes. Instead of skipping a stop, Zuzanna just moved quicker. That was very helpful to us.

We were greeted by Eugenia and enjoyed a 3 hour walking tour of Barcelona that included sampling the best chocolate and churros and pinchos in the city. Eugenia was passionate and energetic and shared her enthusiasm for the food we enjoyed while sharing the culture with us. We strolled through la boqueria and enjoyed the most amazing ham and manchego cheese. We stopped at the corner bar and enjoyed a vermouth and some tapas. With every turn Eugenia told us about the city, the people and the food. She definitely made the tour a magical experience for all of us. Highly recommended.

Guide Zuzanna was excellent in preparing us for safety, tried out subway ride, explained everything in details. Some bonus stops. Although I think the food is only ok, but the experience was amazing.

Barcelona Food Tour

We have done food tours on trips to Madrid and Rome and absolutely loved them. This tour was not quite as good, as there were only 3 stops for food and the paella place was closed because it was Sunday. Our guide was friendly, but not as charismatic as the other guides we’ve had.

I loved this tour. Zuzana our guide was great!!! She took us to non-touristic bars. She also walked us through a working class neighborhood where we saw lots of graffiti wall art. And we met a gentleman who is converting an empty area into a garden space for the residents with found materials. We also walked through the Gothic area and La Rambla of course. Although I love to see the famous monuments when I visit a country... I actually prefer talking with the working populace to learn more about what is happening in their country from their point of view.

The tour guide Luci was very funny and extremely personable;however, I paid for a food tour not for a stand up comedian. All of the food we had was subpar and after walking through piss smelling streets and prostitute alleys I was over this ridiculous tour. I do not recommend this tour.

After a slight confusion over the meeting point which was resolved quickly, we enjoyed the tour immensely. Our guide, Tomas, was fluent in English, knowledgeable and friendly. Even though we had visited Barcelona several times before, we learned a lot of new facts and visited places we had not seen on previous visits. The food and wine were enjoyable and spaced out nicely over almost three hours. Would recommend.
