Hitting all the major spots in one day!

I was able to check off one of my bucket list items - going to the sagrada familia. Our guide was great. Super knowledgeable. When we got there that afternoon, the sunset was shining through the stain glass windows, making the view inside the basilica super dreamy. We had a different guide at Park Guell. He was very knowledgeable and shared anecdotes about his childhood at the park. I really liked the local perspective of the area. Afterwards, he gave us recommendations of places to eat at our stopping point and helped others figure out how to get where they needed to via the metro or taxis. :)

There is no "best of Gaudi" other than one site

Generally this is an interesting tour. Not much time spent in Sagrada Familia, mostly the outside with all the details of the architecture explained. The main low point is the walk to the bus taking you to parc Guel. A 10 mins walk for a 15 mins bus ride. The parc is beautiful and worth visiting. The last stop which is a hospital and a historical site is basically a time waster as all you see is the outside and wrap up with the guide. Overall a good tour but would have passed on the last stop for sure

Good tour but needs improvements

Tour of Sagrada Familia and Park Guell were wonderful. Great guides. We only saw these 2 things so tour information was misleading. Walk from the church to the bus for Park Guell was very long. Would have been ugly had it been raining.

La sagrada familia was an awesome church 144 years in the making. The guide (jordi) was very knowledgeable and funny😁

This tour was started with Raul who was fluent in English and Spanish. He was very informative and interesting. He kept each of us engaged with the details in and out of the Sagrada Familia. The rest of the tour was handled by Mark, but there appeared to be a short delay in connecting with Mark & had to take a 10 minute walk to get the Coach, which apparently could not meet us at the Sagrada Familia. Mark did a great job keeping everyone together & rendered aid when one of our group fell on the steps in Park Gruell. Due to the terrain in the Park, I would warn that this part of the tour can be quite challenging.

This church was a primary reason for going to Barcelona and it was great. And Oriel was a great guide for the Park Guell portion of the tour. This is a must for any visit to Barcelona.

Combo Tour Sagrada Familia/Parc Guell

This was an excellent tour. We saw some of Gaudi's most famous works, Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, the apartments. If you like walking, this is for you. Both guides were patient as I have a disability. I recommend it.

Tour provided by Julia Travel. The first stop was the Sagrada Família. Our tour guide was Alexandra. Her English was unfortunately very difficult to understand. I was with another fluent English speaker and we both had issues. We weren’t the only ones. After she finished an explanation, I observed others looking at each other clearly showing that they don’t understand her English. On the other hand, Jordy was our tour guide for Park Guell and he was amazing. He was funny, engaging, and connected with the group. Plus, his English is great and understandable.

The church is magnificent, but the tour is not!

The church is amazing and a must-see. However, the tour is very disorganized, with lots of idle time waiting for the guides, etc., Then, once in the church, everything is very rushed, when it would have mattered to to slow down and enjoy the magnificent church. The park was not worth the time or the money. We could have done it on our own for much less. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

Sagrada Familia and Park Guell tour

The tour guides were very knowledgeable and passionate. We enjoyed Jane's explanation of all the details and meaning of structure in the basilica, this in itself is worth the tour. The tour on the Park Guell is not as enjoyable. Several of the area in the park is under renovation. The tour guide is great and really tried his very best to make it enjoyable, but we felt there's really nothing much to see and it entails a lot of walking. The casa Mila and Casa Batllo will just be shown from outside if you didn't purchase the ticket to go in.

Both guide tours don’t give us enough time to explore the places. Too rush to go out. They should give us some times to take pictures and walk around the place

This was a great tour to take which afforded the opportunity for pretty comprehensive walk and information about both locations. It was conveniently located and great to have an air conditioned bus as it was very hot this week in Barcelona. Both guides were wonderful!!!

Things Fell Apart...

While the first half of our tour, the La Sagrada, was lovely, the wheels fell off the bus when visiting Park Guell. We were handed off to another tour guide and group. Our tour guide was giving a bilingual tour (not advertised as this...) and it was difficult to follow her insights.

Great church--structurally and history wise. Though it seems like a tourist spot rather than a place of worship, the interior and exterior design and architecture is so fascinating that it was worth it. Our guide (and most guide) have us used an audio to help us listen to his explanation of the church. It is worth it and shouldn't be missed

Most enthusiastic and informative guides, one for Sagrada Família and one for the remainder of the tour. Both were super knowledgeable about the subject and guided us thru the sights with ease, passing the lines waiting to get into each site.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour having missed them on 2 prior visits to Barcelona. Our guide was sick with a bad cold; however, she was very knowledgeable and did the best she could with much coughing and being sick.

The tour for Sagrada Familia was...
b4bblefish
, Sep 2018
The tour for Sagrada Familia was absolutely horrible and unprofessional as there were a number of issues. Park Guell was fine, but definitely not enough to save this tour experience for reasons below: 1. Last minute tour guide replacement led to a late tour departure 2. Tour guide's English was atrocious as she would constantly try to use complex words incorrectly with extremely awkward pronunciation and grammar. It was very clear she was not comfortable in English and she was not supposed to be leading an English tour to begin with. 3. First tour guide completely forgot about the second tour and was about to leave us in the middle of Sagrada Familia with no way to find the next tour guide. 4. When she tried to point us out to the next tour guide she didn't even bother to take us there, she told us she had to run and that we should head across the street and look for the guide. We literally had no idea who the second guide was or what he/she looked like. 5. The first guide did not even give the second guide a count for how many people were supposed to be coming so we ended up losing at least 3-5 people who explicitly had asked the first tour guide where to go for the second part of the tour. I have no idea where those people went, but they definitely did not get to complete the tour. 6. We were apparently 20 minutes late to the second guide who was meeting with another group of angry tourists wondering why they were sitting outside in the hot Spanish sun for so long.
