"Gran Gala Flamenco" Performance Teatre Poliorama or Palau de la Música Catalana

Very interesting and the crowd seemed to be into it. I thought it would be like a variety show with lots of different performers. instead it was 4 dancers with a few musicians doing different mini-scenes that probably told a story if i could follow it.. Still a good show, good quality in a good location. Make sure you check to see where your show is before you go there. it could be at either venue.

Beautiful example on the Soul of Spain. Very moving and a wonderful treat for the eyes and ears. The dancers, singers, guitar players were passionate and excellent. This is a must do when in Barcelona. Buy the VIP tickets for about 10.00 more, well worth it. We were in the second row of a beautiful theater.

It may not be fair to single out anyone in the amazing team of performers (four dancers, two singers and three musicians - violin, guitar and percussion), BUT the guitarist was from another planet! He singlehandedly held yhe whole show together, often spicing the standard flamenco harmonies with jazzy twists that just blew my mind wide open. His name is Chiquelo and you can hear his magic on Youtube. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The music and dancers were very talented...really enjoyed the show!!! I thought it might be unprofessional and amateurish but I was very surprised to see that yhe dancers were very well trained!!!

Our family of three purchased the upgraded VIP TICKETS on VIATOR. The process on Viator went through flawlessly. We stayed in the Gothic Quarter and were able to walk to the show. We arrived 30 minutes before the show time and our tickets were waiting at the venue on a table labeled “Reservations” under my name. The concert hall is magnificent and some groups tour the venue during the day. I highly recommend attending a show like this one. The dancers were outstanding and the show lasted 90 minutes with dance and music solos. I feel I made the correct decision to see a flamenco show while in Spain at a high end venue instead of in a cramped bar or restaurant - especially since my daughter is only 14 years old. Even though the concert hall is large - entering and exiting went smoothly. Overall, I highly recommend this show. My experience could have been better if I was able to select my seats online instead of Viator (or the venue) picking my seats. At a minimum, I would have liked to have been allowed to pick a specific section. It was difficult to find our seats and another group thought we were in their seats. We were close to the stage (6th row), so I can’t complain, and my wife and daughter said the seats were great!. There is only a small bathroom up on a top floor. So use the facilities before you enter the venue No food or drinks were served.

Beautiful venue, incredible artists. Worth every penny and then some. This will be a highlight of our trip.

It was a pleasure to have watch this show. A very enchanting and passionate flamenco show. A must see concert for all the tourist and locals out there in Barcelona.

The palau de la musica was beautiful. I would recommend any show at this theatre. The flamenco performance was excellent. We throughly enjoyed the culture of the performance.
