Expensive, Exhaustive and Dusty

Tour organisers arrived at hotel on time. Tut tut ride to the Batcave area was quite long, uncomfortable and dusty - car transfer would be much better. Climb up the hill to the pagoda and killing caves is exhaustive even in the comfortable February weather season and participants of all ages would need to be very fit other tours whizzed past us in cars and on motor-cycles. Only at the top were we given a small bottle of water and our included snack consisted of an handful of shelled monkey nuts way past their sell by date. Given the £28 cost per person this level of service was extremely poor value. The Guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We returned down to at the bottom via a few hundred carved out steps and settled down to watch the bats fly out of the rock face cave which was terrific,
