Informative, insightful, and included details often overlooked.

The tour was GREAT!! We knew a few pieces when it came to Birmingham and the civil rights movement but was not aware of other events that had taken place there. Our guide was phenomenal and I would highly recommend this tour for a more in-depth knowledge share of the area and events.

Our tour guide is an excellent story teller who is able to capture the experiences that happened at the different places that we saw. He didn’t just give us “this is the place where this happened.” He went into detail at every location and really brought history to life. I am a history teacher and I highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely wonderful tour, even though Covid has the museums shut down. My son and I learned a ton and have a whole new appreciation for the current movements happening in our nation. The host was super informative, compassionate towards the cause, and kept us engaged.

The tour was fantastic and packed full of great knowledge for anyone willing to expand their mind to past civil rights history. Recently our country has been facing more civil rights issues so it was awesome to link the past to the present to better understand our country’s current problems as well! The tour lasts around 3 hours total so I’d recommend bringing a water bottle because there is plenty of walking on this tour. Overall, the experience was awesome and I encourage anyone who is thinking about it, to go!

The tour guide was so passionate in his narrative that I was deeply moved. It’s good to be informed of the social injustice from the past. Sad it’s still so prevalent today. Excellent tour!
