Excellent Day out with knowledgeable tour guide
Maria_H
, Jun 2021
From the start of pick up we knew we chose the right tour for what we were hoping for. Brian made everyone comfortable and gave us lots of information. There is more in this tour than what is advertised. We did not realize this tour was with a tour guide all day. Very happy & recommend you don’t miss this opportunity. Lunch was delicious and filling.

Hi Maria Thank you for giving our day tour to Stradbroke Island such a good wrap. We are very happy that you enjoyed the day. Brian will be pleased to have been positively mentioned. Both our North Stradbroke island Tour and our Springbrook / Tamborine Rainforest Tour are fully guided. Given the nature of the Sunshine Coast and Noosa Tour, it is only partly guided with most destination history and information given in the bus. Regards Jo

Hi Claire, Our great appreciation for taking your time to write a Review on your Tour with us to Stradbroke Island. We are so happy that you enjoyed the tour and we will pass your Review onto your Guide Shane. We noted your comment about how relaxing you found it. This Tour in particular we have tried to ensure it is not rushed yet making sure you see the best of Straddie. Its the kind of destination you need time to "chill". Again thank you. A great day - thoroughly recommended

Our group of 4 (2 Brisbane-bred and 2 Sydney-bred, but all now locals) had a wonderful day. Brian was a great guide and found dolphins, koalas, sting rays, a manta ray and a kangaroo for us to see. The highlight however was seeing 3 humpback whales quite close to Point Lookout, while we walked along the North Gorge walk. We felt very lucky. Brian also gave us interesting information about both Straddie and parts of Brisbane that even us old locals didn’t know.

A Quality Full Day Excursion
nilcarbille
, Mar 2020
We were picked up at the meeting point above Botanical Gardens and driven directly to the ferry terminal. Our minibus driver / guide was James(?) and his smooth driving and gentle commentary set the pattern for the day. A nice touch was to get each traveller to say a few words about themselves. The who, what and why generated a feeling of easy friendship amongst strangers. Nice ferry crossing(s) with good coffee and snacks aboard. Lots of stops on Stradbroke Island to look for wildlife and walk the coastal paths. Many opportunities to ask questions and get informed replies. Use some insect repellent though, as the little so and sos were out in force early in the February day. An excellent lunch at a hotel, with a couple of drinks, was followed by a stop for very good local ice creams. A fuss free return ferry and bus transfer into central Brisbane rounded off a really good value tour. Thanks again to our friendly, professional guide.

James the driver was just amazing. Very informative and entertaining. Worked very hard to find us a 🐨 in the wild which he did (eventually lol). The 'straddie' experience was sensational. A definite must do in my books. Such a beautiful place. We saw Sea turtles, Dolphins, Manta rays, kangaroos and a koala. Loved the small group we were with which had a great mix of people.
