La Ventana Tango Show with Optional Dinner in Buenos Aires

Food was disappointing, not bad but very simple taste … doesn’t serve the Show that was absolutely fabulous ! And the place is beautiful !

we were supposed to be picked up 19:30 from our hotel, so we were outside 19:24, and waiting for the pickup, after waiting for a while, and trying to call many times the emergency helpline, we finally got through to be told 5 minutes (in other terms: 30 minutes), and 1 hour after (feeling pretty silly), we finally got picked up by an empty van, they also pick you up only from the centre, and not Palermo soho. the dinner was mediocre, no way worth 60$. In other words, do yourself favour and skip the dinner+pickup offer (take Cabify, it is going to be cheap and works well). The show started at 10PM. Now the good parts, we were seated in the front, it was small crowd, and the show was very good (interesting dancing, gauchos, bolero, singing, etc)! No english anywhere though, so you are in the dark guessing about the show.

Amazing dancers, great musicians and all in all a great show. Intimate venue, good wines and friendly service. Transport from/to hotel was also a good help.

This tango show was amazing, with outstanding musicians playing piano, cello, accordion and violin; a male and a female singer; and a trio of tango dancers. The food was delicious with attentive and friendly service. The biggest surprise of the evening: the intimate setting. We were seated in front of the stage, but doesn't matter where you sit, the view is great at Gala Tango! High caliber performance - thoroughly recommend!

What a night! The waiters and staff were super friendly. The food and wine were excellent. (Without spoilers) The show was amazing - great dancing and music. Multiple groups of dancers and interacted with the audience. Highly recommend checking out this tango show.

We attended this performance with the dinner included. Excellent show in the San Telmo district. An older venue than some of the shows but the performance was much more intimate as we were seated close to the stage. The variety in the acts was also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Wonderful show and service with wine. Excellent performances, tango plus folkloric show, with pick up and drop off provided from the cruise port.

Reserved this last minute. Our hotel rated this as good. We booked just the show- no food or drinks. The tour operator indicated they do not pick up in the Palermo area and provided a prominent spot for pick up at 9:00 p.m. We took a taxi to that spot and waited and were picked up a bit after 9:00 p.m. So do not expect hey would be there exactly at 9:00 p.m. Remember you are enjoying a vacation. When we reached the place we were offered to go upstairs and enjoy a smaller venue that had a different show. Even though it might have been better I decided to stay with Ventana since I wanted to see what I had paid for. When we entered the venue was packed with people eating and drinking and was extremely busy. It was too loud to my liking. The show started around 10:00 p.m. From the start I found the music to be too loud and I had my ear blocked all through the performance. The Tango was good, including the 'Don't Cry for me Argentina' presentation. There were other pan flute presentations also. However, I had seen a Tango performance on a cruise ship the night before and that performance was much better and in a quieter environment. In conclusion the tour operator was well organised given the last minute reservation; the performance was good but the noise was unbearable for me and my spouse. If you like loud spaces, you may rate it higher.

Picked up from our hotel and taken directly to the venue which is very atmospheric we sat in the gallery so had a great view the steak we had was superb and the bottle Malbec went down a treat the show itself was varied and very entertaining overall a great experience which I would strongly recommend

Too crowded, too noisy and mediocre quality dinner. Unless you are with a large group, you will be seated at a table with a poor view of the stage. Do not recommend this activity.
