We would give six stars if we could! DEFINITELY pay for the upgrade ($30/pp)- it’s the difference between being crammed with 100 people and having your own space with 20 people. The team, activities, drinks and lunch all exceeded our expectations. Be prepared for a long full day of fun!

Overall we felt this was fun. A couple things that you may want to be aware of if you are a frequent snorkeler, the reef itself isn’t very impressive. They keep you all together and kind of rush you along. The snorkeling isn’t the best. Isla Mujeres is a cute island. The free lunch buffet on the island was fine, nothing super gourmet. Our weather wasn’t good, so that contributed to my fiancé’s grouchiness. Try to pick a day with guaranteed sun! The free drinks are not premium, so don’t expect Modelos or tecates or any name brand tequila. It’s worth mentioning it was off season so there wasn’t an option to upgrade. The crew is friendly, especially “Jose Cuervo”!

We did this same tour last year and did not pay for the upgrade. The upgrade was not at all worth the money and they did not do the “extra” things they said they would. Food was mediocre, drinks didn’t even have any alcohol in them.

Good, but skip the snorkeling

The trip was beautiful and well-organized. Drinks and buffet lunch were just ok but service was great. The only portion that I would not recommend was the snorkeling. There were thousands of people in the water at the same time and everyone is thrashing around you and you are only in the water for 20 min. If you are a well-seasoned snorkeler this portion of the trip is not for you.

Great experience and would recommend. Only downside is we were on a shared van ride to/from with a few stops it otherwise no issues. Staff was great. We upgraded to smaller less people catamaran which I would recommend for families.
