Very informative tour

Our tour guide Steven was excellent. The Dock Theater and St Michael’s church were very memorable. Our guide’s knowledge of Charleston was exceptional and enjoyable.

Tourguide Stephen was excellent.

Our guide, Stephen was a born and raised in Charleston and brings an insightful perspective of old and new Charleston. He also gave us some extra bonus stops not typically on the tour. While it took a little longer than 90 minutes every minute was worth it.

Racist Tour Guide
Richard_S
, Apr 2021
Stephen was reasonably knowledgeable about Charleston but his lecture on masks and how groups must comport themselves on streets and sidewalks was unnecessarily long and his enforcement thereof was draconian, particularly toward people of color. His barely-disguised anger on several occasions was a poor advertisement for Charleston and the New South. As white, Northerners with limited experience visiting the South, we were aghast.

Hello Richard, sorry to hear your walking tour experience wasn't up to your standards. Please contact management and we hope to make it right, thanks 843-723-9712

The guide was just going through the motions. He seemed knowledgeable but not very enthusiastic. This is the first Viator tour we have been disappointed in.
