Had a wonderful day
, Jan 2021
Bill was a wonderful tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Bill took his time explaining about each site, and asking if we had any questions before we moved on.
Learning can be fun!

Bill shows you Charleston and it's charm from the socio-economic perspective. I left the tour with a full understanding of how and why Charleston is the city it became.. bravo Bill and thanks!
Excellent tour

The single best tour guide I’ve had on any tour in any city. Smart, funny, interesting and loaded with interesting info. Would heavily recommend.

The 2 hours spent with Bill was not my favorite. Highlights were the theater and the slave museum. Bill spent quite a bit of time complaining about Charleston City politics and how covid restrictions are bankrupting him. Understandably he is angry about the situation, I just wish he would have spent more time on Charleston history.
A must for Charleston visitors

Our tour guide had a good knowledge of Charleston and told stories of the people and architecture. This is the second time we've taken the tour. I highly recommended it to heighten your appreciation of the city.
Highly Recommend Charleston Tour

We learned sooo much about Charleston on our tour with Bill! We greatly appreciated Bill’s extensive knowledge and historical expertise, he answered every question we had without missing a beat!
Best tour ever!

Our guide Bill was terrific. We learned so much about the history of Charleston and the South from him as we saw the places where it happened. Bill highlighted the history of the individual buildings we saw as well as the town in general. We enjoyed every minute!

Our tour guide was great. He provided a great perspective and not just some boring history tour. When I come back some day I will definitely do this tour again.

Initial words were...he will “dumb it down” for the group, and throughout his “LECTURE ” on ethics and religion, he touted his own accomplishments and education over and over. Did not learn much about Charleston, but know how many tours he does and that he can’t wait for this last tour to be over so he can have a rest. Yes, we left after 1 and 1/2 hours, realizing we would learn more from our phones. By the way.. these “country bumpkins” have doctorates
