5-Star Walking Tour of Charlotte

This is an amazing tour— take it! There is a little bit for everyone: history, culture, and ghostly activity. The guide is so knowledgeable and a phenomenal storyteller, without being theatrical or over-the-top. As an out-of-towner, this was a great way to see and learn about the city. Would take this walking tour again, and will highly recommend to others.

Wow, what a fantastic tour!! Laura was exceptional - she set the tone of the tour by her unique outfit, her candle lit lantern, and the way she told stories full of detail. It was a great way to see the city and a very manageable walk and amount of time. My boyfriend and I regularly talk about little bits we learned from the tour! I wish I remembered to bring tip $ - bring a little extra, Laura is definitely worth it.

Great History Tour as well as a Ghost Tour

Great tour guide named Laura made history as well as the ghosts stories come alive. I've lived in Charlotte having relocated here 25 yrs ago and never knew about the history and ghost stories I learned on this tour. Very professional and highly interesting. I recommend this tour to visitors and residents alike! Out of towners might expect some Civil War ghosts being as this is a southern city, but who knows, there may not be any ghosts from that time period.

It was a wonderful tour. The tour guide was extremely informative and the route was well thought out. We learned a lot about the local history and enjoyed seeing some of downtown, or I guess uptown.

Nice tour that needs work

We felt the tour was more educational than haunted. The narrator was great and the stories were very interesting. It was neat how she tied in the end of the tour to the beginning. The only and real challenge was the ambient noise level in Charlotte was far greater at times forbidding us from hearing her narrate. Perhaps the use of a small megaphone would help although it would take away from the ambiance of the tour.
