Amazing time with Nitin. The market was really interesting and she got us tasting things I thought I never would! She runs her business from her home which is decked out with Akha artefacts. The cooking session was really good and we learnt a lot. Would definitely recommend!

Holy cow, this was awesome. An amazing, funny instructor, market tour with lots of odd tasty samples, and a beautifully organized course that never felt rushed. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know. :)

AMAZING cooking class! I try to take at least one class whenever I travel but this class really blew everything else out of the water. I wasn’t able to book the morning session, which included a trip to the grocery market, but this far exceeded my expectations. Come hungry! Learned how to make egg rolls, pad Thai, papaya salad, Tom Yum, massaman curry, mango with sticky rice, and the most delicious Akha soup and tomato dipping sauce. There are several dishes in each category to choose from, so you can truly try it all. Our instructor was impeccably organized and the class was hands-on. Could not ask for more!

This was a great experience. We enjoyed touring the market, learning to cook so many dishes, and eating all of our delicious food. It is a LONG day and could probably have been a little shorter, but lots of fun.

Thai & Akha Cooking Experience

Our guide, JJ, was knowledgeable and his instructions were clear when teaching us how to prepare/cook the dishes. The kitchens was well equipped and clean, and the ingredients were all prepared beforehand. It was amazing how simple it was to cook/prepare the dishes, ad so many dishes could be prepared within that short time. I would recommend doing the morning tour as it includes a short trip to the market, where JJ explained the different ingredients used in Thai cooking and tasted some of the produce as well.

This was an absolutely amazing class!!! The instructor is great! She is hilarious and really pushes you to try new things! She definitely is a major part of why this class was so great!! The dishes you make are excellent and you get a cook book with all the recipes to take home! She also is very helpful with giving alternatives you may use if you are not able to find certain ingredients in your home country. Overall an absolutely fabulous experience, I would recommend to anyone who has the time in Chiang Mai!!
