Giants Causeway and Carrick a Rede rope bridge tour

we loved this activity, the guide guy was so helpful and the bus was very convenient for the long journey

Spent the most time at Giants Causeway, which was the highlight of the trip. The rope bridge itself is underwhelming but the view is amazing. The tour bus experience itself could have been better. The bus left us behind at one of the sites. Driver decided to take off a bit earlier with the other passengers to grab food. Left us stranded for over 20 minutes past the agreed meet time. Gave us a scare. Another slightly annoying thing not clearly communicated is that the final drop off point is not the same as the initial pick up place. We had made dinner plans at a particular place under the assumption we'd be dropped in the same neighborhood. Was not the best way to end the tour especially after a long day without lunch.

Rocks were totally unique, nothing like this anywhere else. Rope bridge was OK. Not so unique, but good anyway.

Eugine was super friendly and very informative during the tour. The sights and history of the tour was simply breathtaking and I highly recommend booking this tour specially with eugine.

Ok we had a good tour guide but there were a few issues. We did not get the big roomy bus since there were not enough people. Then there are not enough warnings about weather issues on the website. Since it was to windy the rope bridge was closed,. That's half the trip! Got stuck going into Belfast instead. I really didn't want to but didn't have much choice. If I knew ahead of time I would have check the weather and canceled this trip and done something else. Beware!

Thanks to Eugene for doing the driving anf getting to all the sites safely and on time on this long day trip (~12hours). We were blessed with beautiful weather for our trip. There was plenty of time allowed at each location, a comfortable coach and food spots. Lunch at the Giants barn was also excellent.

Our Tour Guide, Eugene made the Tour! He was the best by making it possible for us to visit the Rope Bridge and have the experience in the afternoon based on the weather that day. This was important as we were visiting Ireland specifically to take this tour of northern Ireland; so if we didn't see it then, we were never going to see it. Wonderful trip! Highly recommend it and hope that Eugene is your Tour Guide. Note to Eugene: I apologize for rushing off the bus to start walking back to our hotel to ensure we arrived in time for our dinner reservation without thanking you personally for the wonderful job you did driving and guiding our tour and sharing your stories along the way. Thank you Eugene. It was wonderful meeting you and for giving us a wonderful tour that we will always remember. Note to Viator: The experience would have been better if we would have gotten an email from you the day prior to the start of the tour that informed us that we would be on the "Darby O'Gill" bus vice the CityScape Luxury Tour Bus which was was stated on the tour voucher. I had to spend time calling Viator to find out who/what bus we should look for. Viator did reply with an email late in the evening (to late for me to read). The next morning have to leave very early for tour, there was not time to read email. Thank goodness, Eugene approached us as we were the only ones left at the meeting area as we stood waiting the CityScape tour bus for 20 minutes. So Viator, you need to do a better job as keeping customers informed earlier than late night the day before only because I contacted you.

Well organised tour and perfect for seeing some of the countryside outside of the city. Eugene was our guide was also very knowledgable and friendly.

Thanks to Eugene for making a long trip very enjoyable. He shared a great deal of valuable and interesting information along the way to keep the hours on the road flying by. I wish viator used Darby O'Gill tours for more of their tours, they are very good!

Great bus trip. Eugene was very informative and pleasant. The sights were amazing. Bathroom on board. Would recommend.
