Piazza dei Cavalleggeri , Piazza dei Cavalleggeri, 50122 Firenze FI, Italy

Meeting point is in front of Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library) in Piazza dei Cavalleggeri. Look for your guide holding a Walkabout sign.

This activity will end right where it started.
Your Vespa tour will begin in central Florence, where you’ll meet your guide and head straight to our garage for a brief safety overview and practice ride before hitting the road. Saddle up on your original Vintage PK Vespa, a classic model no longer produced, and follow your guide through tree-lined avenues until you reach the hills in the countryside.

Admire panoramic views of Florence from the Church of San Miniato al Monte before taking a peek inside. The Romanesque church hosts an array of incredible artwork and is one of the city’s lesser-known gems.

Continue into the Tuscan hills, past poppy fields and vineyards, with plenty of opportunities to pause for photos. As you travel back toward Florence, pull over at Piazzale Michelangelo, where views of the Arno River and the iconic Duomo stretch out before you.

Conclude your adventure with a Tuscan meal on a private terrace, savoring bites of burrata cheese, bruschetta or meat cold cuts with fennel. Sit back, relax and soak up the Italian spirit before heading back to your original departure point.

Chris was wonderful! I was very nervous riding the streets of Florence on a Vespa but his guidance was spot on! His information provided during our tour spots was interesting. Dinner was delicious also. Thank you for a great afternoon in Florence!

Laughter and joy in the Tuscan countryside

Thoughtful tour company gave options to make sure every member of our family had a great time. Our adult kids were on Vespas and the parents rode with Gabriel. We laughed ALOT as Gabriel expertly led the group on Vespas as well as provided a terrific tour narrative of life in the Tuscany region. There was joy in everyone in our group -- Gabriel made sure everyone was safe and having a great time.

This is a must tour! Christian & Stefano were great! They were very patient with us, knowledgeable and were extremely safety conscious. The garage mechanic (don’t remember his name) was there immediately with a different scooter when I had a problem with it so we didn’t miss a beat. The food was delicious - such a memorable fun tour

Adventurous View of Tuscany!!

Myself and my teen children took this tour. We had a great time! The Vespas are older models and bit more challenging to steer than newer ones but they give you a lesson and let you practice first. You are driving up a winding road through Tuscan country with several stops along the way. You will stop for lunch at private estate vineyard for lunch which was pasta, meats and cheeses and wine from the region which was so good! It’s a hot trip (at least in August) so bring plenty of water. There are bathrooms at the Vespa garage and also at the lunch estate. It took about 5 hours start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an adventurous look at the Tuscany region!!!

Really fun tour with the Vespas. Chris was a very good guide. Alex was really helpful with the Vespas. We did have som troubles with the Vespas but everything worked out. I like that you get to test drive before heading out in traffic.

A highlight of our trip - Chris and Gabi were excellent guides and we both loved the classic 80’s Vespas. Word of warning: expect time at the start for an overview of the Vespa and safety information - super important and well worth the time taken before hitting the road. I’d also recommend some experience on a scooter/motorcycle because you will be asked to take a short test before guaranteeing you can be a driver.

Our guides, Stefano and Christiano were amazing! They took time to ensure everyone has the proper training needed before leading us on the most amazing experience. Riding through the hills on a vespa is unlike anything else i have done. The stops had beautiful views, and ending at the countryside estate for pasta and wine was the icing on top of the cake. Do not hesitate to book this trip. Will definitely be back to do it again Grazie mille!

In the trial run on the vespas i lost balance and then felt uncomfortable riding it out on the street and david (the instructor) agreed that if i wasn’t comfortable doing it then i shouldn’t (specially that i didn’t have any experience), so david suggested that I ride with him in the vintage fiat and I felt that was a good option for me and i am honestly so glad i did, we enjoyed the trip so much and got to see the beautiful tuscan country side, and didn’t feel like I was missing out since the fiat ride was so much fun! However you have to keep in mind that if you aren’t super careful you could get injured and if the bike got damaged, then you’d have to pay for the damage ofcourse 😅

We had so much fun on this Vespa tour! They made sure everyone was comfortable riding the Vespas - one couple decided to drive a Fiat instead. The ride through Tuscany was absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend!

This was so much fun — the tour guide, Cristiano, was very knowledgeable and really funny. He was helpful with the Vespas and showed us a great time! The dinner up a the Tuscan estate at the end of the ride was perfect. Only note: I do not recommend this for beginners. Definitely practice on mopeds at home before trying these out for the first time in Italy. The Vespas are indeed vintage and it can take some time to get used to their idiosyncrasies. But if you have experience, DO THIS!!!

Honestly if I could give...

Honestly if I could give this 0 stars I would. The tour guides are young and arrogant. They will pre-judge you before you even sit on a Vespa. The “test” is one short ride up a hill at the garage and from that they decide if you can handle it. In my case, many of the other guests on our tour told me they were impressed by my ability and how easily I caught on. However, the tour guides told me they didn’t think I was ready. I begged them to allow me a second chance. They told me themselves that my second run was even better! But as we were getting ready to leave, they pulled me aside and told me I wouldn’t be going. Meanwhile, as the tour left I distinctly overheard the two guides talking about how another guest looked really shaky and they needed to keep an eye on her. And I also witnessed with my own eyes as another guest kept falling over whenever she would stop. But somehow they passed the test and were allowed to ride? While I strongly disagree with the tour guides’ decision not to let me ride, I’m more upset by the arbitrary way they decided that other guests were allowed to participate over me. I feel that if being shaky and falling over allows you to pass then I should have been allowed to ride too. Oh and did I mention that not only was this my honeymoon, but it was also on my birthday? Happy birthday to me. Also, don’t be fooled by the description of food and wine tasting. They take you to a property that the tour company owns. It’s marinara and a charcuterie board made by 20-something’s, and a single glass of wine, not a tasting at a vineyard. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Pros- the tiny cars were cool and fun to drive (when they worked). The lunch was good and the tour guide was nice. Cons-there were no radios to communicate. We only made 3 stops plus lunch. We spent 8:30-10:30 on bus ride and training people how to drive the stick cars before we actually started the tour. Then we were just stopping every time those who didn’t know how to drive were lost. One of the cars broke and we were waiting for 30 minutes on the road.
