The gallery is small. The David is spectacular. Good luck finding your tour guide in the huge crowd.

Small museum. Seeing the David was awe-inspiring. Way too crowded inside to really see everything. Getting your tickets from someone standing outside the museum is chaotic. This was our third Viator reservation in 2 days so we knew the routine, but the tour agent had no identifying logos on them to help us find them. And there were hindreds of people on this crowded street. We just got lucky and asked a woman who knew where to guide us. Why not send out the tickets digitally in the email prior to our arrival with detailed instructions on where to go, what line to get in, a map showing exactly where to be. Seems like an easy fix.

Bought one skip-the-line ticket to the Accademia Gallery in Florence for 10 AM. Tour operator (you look for two guys on the street outside the entrance) told my family there was a mistake and he no tickets and come back at Noon. We haggled with one guy, then the other, and finally the assistant guy gave us a 9:45 AM expired timed ticket. We only bought one ticket since the rest of our group had purchased their timed tickets weeks earlier. At the entrance to the gallery, the staff allowed entry although it was now 10:45 AM by the time the ticket holder got to the door. The museum staff had a debate about allowing the late timed entry before allowing the one person inside. Stressful experience and wasted vacation time.

Get to the meeting spot early and make sure you have ALL PEOPLE in your party there. They exchange your voucher for tickets and put you in the "people with ticket" line - which MAY look long, but it moves fast. WAYYY faster than the "people with OUT a ticket" line. Easy peasy!!

The tickets were available in a timely manner outside the museum. However, we noticed that tickets for kids were free (which we paid for) if you purchase them directly from museum which we were not aware of. Viator shouldn’t allow this.

Even though the title of this excursion was skip the line, we did have to wait in line in almost 100° heat. Somehow the line got backed up and they had to restructure the line of people. There were so many people and it was so hot, it was a very poor experience outside. Once we got inside to see David, we were happy.

We reserved tickets for Sunday morning in June. We were greeted at the meeting point, checked in and escorted straight into the entrance. Without this option, our wait would have been at least an hour. Overall positive experience.

While ultimately this ticket did save us time, it was quite a hassle and required much standing around and cajoling to get inside the Accademia. When we arrived for our 10:00 time at 9:45, we were told there were no tickets and we’d have to come back at 12:00 or 1:00. This was a problem as we’d already wasted a taxi fare and had other things planned for the afternoon (that then had to be adjusted if we wanted to visit the Accademia.) When we returned for the 12:00 time we were moved up and down outside the main line in the hot Sun until the guards finally let the viotor guide usher us inside. We finally made it inside just before 1:00, a far cry from 10:00.

Good but still had to stand in line. We met the guise 5 mins before 3pm, as suggested and didn’t get into the academia until 3:15pm. Had to stand in line during a blistering summer day. It was quicker than the normal line but 15 mins in that sun was less than ideal

Getting a ticket to skip the line was definitely worth it because the line was so long for regular admission without reservation. However it was extremely difficult to locate the person who would give me the ticket and it seemed very disorganized. Once I located the worker I had to wait another 15 minutes to get in line and they asked someone in line if I could cut in with them.
