Private Gluten Free Cooking Class

My Husband and I had the pleasure and honor of taking a private cooking class from Chef Vary in her new Facility and beautiful kitchen. It was the highlight of our trip. Chef was able to help me with my gluten free pasta and bread as well as a few lovely sauces. She is a amazingly accomplished Chef! I feel so privileged to have had the honor of learning from her. I highly recommend this class!!!

Best time ever for the cooking class

My mom and I got really lucky. We got a private class for this so a lot of one on one learning. I have celiac and this was very fun. We met at chef varys home which was very fun to cook in a real kitchen . We had submitted a menu and we ended up changing it. The chef suggested soemthing that took more time but that would also be more satisfying. I'm glad we did this because it told me she really wanted us to get the most of the experience even if it took longer. We ended up making tagliatelle from scratch with bolognese, osso bucco and rosemary focaccia. This was the best welcome to florence day as we had just arrived from naples. Chef vary was a lot of fun. Her humor is great and we were laughing all night and I learned even more about gluten free cooking. I cant wait to make these recipes at home. We also had some wine and since it was just us two we got to take some leftovers. I cant rave about this class enough. It was for sure a highlight of the trip. She also gave us some recommendations of where to eat gluten free in florence . I love florence and all the people I have met. Chef vary made the trio even better and I hope I can come back someday to visit!

Chef Vary was not only amazing in the kitchen but a complete delight to be taught. My husband hates gluten free but the way Chef Vary taught us, he loves the items. We made pasta, ravioli and bread. Just beautiful! I would strongly recommend this class for everyone!!!!

Excellent cooking class in the heart of Florence. The teacher was well-versed in the best options for using gluten-free ingredients for the recipes. Our lasagna was to die for!!! We also met a delightful couple from Chile during the class.

The cooking class was fabulous. Chef Vary and her husband were very welcoming. We actually did all the preparations with guidance and some help from Chef Vary. She used local seasonal ingredients. We made a delicious meal. She also offers private dinners so we ate with two other couples. It was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend it.
