It was a few days before Saint Lucia shut down but the tour guide was brilliant, there were just the 2 of us. Great tour.

St. Lucia remembered

Rohan, a college educated native, picked the 6 of us up when the Norwegian epic docked at St. Lucia. He drove us all over the island with photographic stops and explanations of the island. We finally stopped at the sulfur springs 95 degree mud bath which is etched in our memories as a great excursion experience. This was followed by a short drive to a waterfall to wash the mud off our faces and more photos. Great job Rohan - we all needed it after a less than acceptable experience on the epic!

Great way to see the highlights of St. Lucia in a single day

We signed up for a semi-private tour in a minibus, but as we were the only takers for that particular day, we wound up getting a private tour in a comfortable sedan at no extra cost. Our driver/guide Rohan was excellent! His driving was very safe, and he was very friendly and courteous toward us. It was clear he was eager to show us all the best sights on St. Lucia. We especially enjoyed the tour of the banana plantation, the drive-through volcano (we opted not to take the mud bath), the stunning views of the Pitons, and the fabulous lunch (at our expense) at a restaurant right on the beach in Soufriere. We highly recommend this tour for those who want to see the best of St. Lucia in a single day.

Awesome sightseeing tour

Rohan was waiting at the cruise terminal with our name so no waiting around. The tour was well thought out started with a visit to a banana plantation and our next brief stop after driving through the beautiful terrain was to listen to a local singer who played Bob Marley covers and produces bowls made out of calabash. We then drove through fishing villages before arriving at viewpoints to photograph the Pitons. Next stop was the Tet Paul nature trail a guide will take you to the best views of the pitons and take amazing pictures. On the way back we stopped at Mount Gimme so don't forget your swimming costume as you stand under the Toraille Water Falls. You could not get a better guide than Rohan very chilled and knowledgeable a day to remember a must do when visiting St Lucia if you only have one day here I would choose this tour over beach as you get to see the real St Lucia

Fantastic day in St. Lucia

This tour was one of the most enjoyable tours that i have experienced. Richard was a terrific guide, so knowable about the area and such a charming gentleman. He picked up the four of us at the cruise dock right on time. We talked with him about the things we wished to see and do, and off we went. Our first stop was a rum distillery, where we had a tasting including several flavors of rum--new to me. The drive up the coast of St Lucia was truly lovely, with several photo stops as we drove through mountains and jungles. Of course, the stars of our viewing were the Pitons. Our next stop was a gorgeous botanical garden that included a very pretty waterfall. Richard did not give us a limited time to explore the garden, which made this a very relaxing experience. I would certainly recommend a tour with Richard for anyone in the area.

Raphael was amazing. My husband and I were the only ones for this tour and Raphael made it so personal. It pointed out various fruit trees... bananas, cashew, cinnamon, chocolate, coffee and more. A few beautiful photo stops, visit to the volcano, the botanical gardens, of course the Pitons and Soufriere and Marigot bay. Would highly recommend this tour and Raphael!

Tour was excellent. Very prompt pickup at resort, Raphael was an outstanding guide - flexible, knowledgeable, accommodating. All the stops were great, especially the impromptu ones where we learned about plants, trees etc. Tet Paul was easy to hike despite some injuries I had.

Tour of St. Lucia and the Pitons

The driver/tour guide was fabulous! He showed us all sorts of things growing on trees we had never seen before - cashews, mangos, bananas, papayas, tamarind, and more. All this in addition to the sites - Pitons, volcano, nature trail, and each city. He also took us to great photo spots. And we had lunch at a local restaurant that was wonderful!

Do this tour if you don't like crowds

We had a fantastic tour guided by Raphael on Christmas day 2019. Only having 6 people in the van meant we could do things at our own pace and choose which attractions to visit based on his advice. We had individual attention and could ask questions and stop and see smaller viewpoints along the way. In contrast, those in the larger bus tours contracted with the cruise-ships seemed to be herded around like cattle. We were so glad that we chose a smaller tour and had a great time talking with Raphael who definitely loves his country and showing it to others. Thanks to Raphael for working on Christmas day and making our stopover such an enjoyable one!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand the lack of attention on those large tours, hence the reason we keep our groups small. Having personal attention and the flexibility is great. Thanks again and see you next Christmas.
