Highly recommended!

We were fortunate that it was snowing up on the mountain and our bus had the authority to go past the closed gates. Our driver, Greg, was very informative but also had a sense of humour and very caring of our safety!

Fantastic time with Kunanyi Explorer Bus

Knowledgeable guide with excellent driving skills and interesting commentary. I would absolutely recommend going up in the tour bus vs driving yourself in a hire car - you need a local who knows the road and conditions! Spectacular view, of course. Be prepared clothes-wise, even if you are not hiking - it is really cold and windy up there. If you are wearing a jacket in Hobart, take extra layers to wear at the top (and gloves, if you have them)!
