A Disappointment

1- The tour could have been packaged as a hlaf-day one. After the Annunciation Chapel, there was of little value based on the way the tour was conducted. 2- Lunch took too long. About 1.5 hours. Overpriced ($22) for a bland fried/baked Tilapia (although they called it St. Peter’s Fish). 3- our guide could have researched better. She simply described the obvious or what was already common knowledge. And in the case of the latter, some of the info she gave was imprecise or conflicting. Maybe it was because she couldn’t express herself in English well even if this was marketed as a tour in English. I ended up listening to other guides whose explanations were informative. At the end of the day, I was just glad the tour was over.

Following to the negative feedback that was sent by you, we are sorry to hear that our tour didn't match your expectations, we try our best to make sure our travelers get the best experience possible. After a comprehensive clarification, please see the response below: 1. The tour could have been packaged as a half-day one. After the Annunciation Chapel, there was of little value based on the way the tour was conducted. In this tour, there are 5 hours of driving part, which makes it difficult to pack the whole trip into a half-day. After checking with the guide and the driver, we understand that the tour visited all the places and the sites that are part of the tour plan. 2. Lunch took too long. About 1.5 hours. Overpriced ($22) for a bland fried/baked Tilapia (although they called it St. Peter’s Fish). $22 (around 80 NIS) is a legitimate price for fish dish, it is even a bit cheaper than an average restaurant, considering the location of the restaurant that overlooks the Sea of Galilee. Regarding the duration of the lunch, it usually takes one hour, while in this case it was 1:22, this is an exception we can accept, given that the restaurant was full. 3. Our guide could have researched better. She simply described the obvious or what was already common knowledge. And in the case of the latter, some of the info she gave was imprecise or conflicting. Maybe it was because she couldn’t express herself in English well even if this was marketed as a tour in English. I ended up listening to other guides whose explanations were informative. This is a group tour and each traveler comes with different knowledge levels. The role of the tour guide is to provide explanations will suit everyone. Our company employs highly experienced government licensed tour guides that were picked and selected very carefully, and Sinaya is one of them. Sincerely, Click Tours Israel
