Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Key West’s original “frightseeing” tour is an evening of fear and fun. It’s a chance to travel back in time to another era. This shadowy, sinister tour departs nightly from the Front Street Depot at the corner of Front and Duval Streets.

Climb aboard the Trolley of the Doomed for an experience unlike any other. Uncover Key West’s darkest secrets and hear the stories of those lost souls who many locals believe still wander the streets of this historic island town.

Your tour will travel past many of the island's most haunted locations ~ the Marrero House, the Porter Mansion, and even the Hanging Tree! Of particular interest will be the former home of Robert Eugene Otto, aka the Artist's House. There, imprisoned in the attic by Dr. Otto's wife, Robert the Doll suffered the abandonment of his lifelong companion, and his mischievous ways took a more sinister turn.

Come with an open mind and see if any ghosts appear on this frightful, fun ghost tour. It’s a ride on the dark side.

Excellent Ghost Host. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this to everyone. I’ll remember to yell You’re All Doomed when I see the bus pass. Lol

Eh. Try a different ghost tour

I think the premises behind the ghost tour idea is great but the stories they told were so long that it seemed to drone on the girl talking was kind of monotonous and took away from the experience. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was expensive and I think that if you’re looking for a good rich history and ghost stories of Key West (which I was), this tour is lacking.

Had a great interactive experience. Heard the footsteps in the shipwreck museum which was cool. Ms Rose was very informative and told great stories! Ms Lydia was a great driver and handled those streets like the pro that she is.

It was so much intriguing information at once. So fun in one hour. Our tour guide was amazing. She took us through the haunted maritime museum and honored the African Americans that were refugees in Key West. So patient with all of our questions

My teens loved this tour!

We were a few minutes late and the bus waited for us and we appreciate that! We enjoyed the tour and history. We stopped once and got off the bus to go inside the ship wreck tower. Would’ve liked more of that. But overall we enjoyed the tour and found it very interesting. My teens especially loved it!

Uncomfortable Seating
Shari_R
, Aug 2021
The description of the tour should include information regarding the lack of leg room on the trolley. My husband is 6’6” and was unable to sit in the seats. There was no space for his legs and had to get off the trolley. There was no refund available due to the issue. It was very disappointing. We understand he is very tall and does not always fit comfortably, but was worse than airplane seating.
