An easy beach break with regular, predictable waves that don’t get too big, La Jolla Shores is one of California’s best destinations for learning to surf. Join an experienced instructor and no more than four other learners on a class that’s good for absolute beginners and intermediates alike. Your class includes your board and an Everyday California rash guard top, with full wetsuits available at an additional charge.

What's Included
All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.
GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Wetsuits are not included in the lesson, but are available for rent for $10.00 plus $1.00 (10% City Tax) so total comes out to $11.00 per wetsuit per person for the entire day.

This activity will end right where it started.All participants must check-in for the activity at our store which is located at 2261 Avenida De La Playa, La Jolla, CA, 92037. Once you arrive at our store, our staff will get you ready, introduce you to your surf instructor and teach you the fundamentals of surfing. Arrive 30 minutes early.

Kids had a great time. The third time they have surfed and the first in California. Nate was a great with the group of 5 participants. The walk to the beach was quite a distance from the check in spot so plan for that or driving down if you need to. Parking is challenging in the area so plan plenty of time.

Our couch, Very slow, took us almost 25 minutes of lesson time just walking to the surfing location. The lesson time did not match the length that website described. Not professional at all!! Did not learn too many things at all. For the price we paid, not worthy at all. Terrible experience, pricy charge, sloppy teaching, disappointing 😣

With Covid lessons where out off a year so when we finally had an opportunity we took advantage of it. My 15 yr old son took a group lesson with Riley and it was perfect. Riley had a group of four and showed patience, knowledge and strong experience and gave everyone his time and attention. We enjoyed it so much we are scheduling another visit. Everyone there at the center is sweet, professional. There are lockers to store things and a place to change. Go you won’t be disappointed.
