Exceptional guide! Silly and playful and engaging throughout the tour. The best way to see a City and know it’s people is a food tour. All stops were fun and delicious! Well organized and thought out. Food was excellent and plentiful. Drinks also abundant and flowing. Like a night out with friends. 100/100
Fun tour of local eateries in Lagos

I had a fabulous time exploring Lagos and tasting typical Algarvian dishes and wines with Maria. She was very friendly, incredibly informative and took us to some great places. She took us to some great local holes in the wall which felt really authentic. As a solo traveller this is a great way to spend an evening and I was completely stuffed and satisfied by the end!! Everyone got along really well thanks to Maria.

This food tour was an incredible experience. The tour guide, Maria, is inspirational. Her knowledge of the area, the food and the wines Is amazing; she is also a fascinating person and wonderful company. The restaurants and establishments that we visited were firmly away from the tourist trail and certainly places we will be visiting again. The food and wines were delicious and based on local culinary traditions; there was certainly plenty to eat and drink - do not miss out on tasting the local green wine and moonshine! This is an experience not to be missed when in The Algarve.

We've taken probably a Dozen food tours around the world but the one in Lagos with Maria was probably THE best or 1 of the top 2 or 3. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable about food and wine ...she had it all going strong. Five stops with 5 great food choices. Sure some rsyairanys and food choices better than others but all places and plates were very good. She also added just right amount of information about Lagos and Portugese history. We would have taken a second tour another night seriously - but we were leaving next day. Our loss.

With only a 4 days in Lagos, my partner and I booked this tour to see a bit more of the city and taste a bit of everything. It did not disappoint. Not only did we love the food (and try some new dishes...), but we thoroughly enjoyed the company of our tour guide and other travelers from around the globe.

We found this tour to be an excellent way to get introduced to Portugal and the local food culture. Our guide Luis was happy to answer all of our questions and make sure we all enjoyed our selves. He gave us wine recommendations at each place. We really did try 12 things and make 5 stops. We got to try some of the dishes that the Portuguese make at home and even traditional poor mans dishes. The Portuguese are known for their fish dishes, we got to try an array of different types of seafood on this tour. I highly recommend the tour for those who like to try and appreciate different foods that are local to the area we tried things I never would have ordered from a menu and I'm really glad I got to try them. I'm sorry I don't have any photos, I was too busy enjoying the company and the food.
