Flavors of Lucca Small Group Tour with Food Tasting and Wine

We had fun time with Chiara eating our way through Lucca. Started out with incredible pastries and coffee and ended the tour with a fabulous antipasto platter and wine. Along the way we saw some of Lucca’s highlights. Only negative of the trip - Chiara took a group photo and was going to text a copy with itinerary, but we never received it. Minor item not worth reducing rating, but I would have liked information and picture.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of Lucca, its history and its food. We were guided around the city to its major attractions and along the way able to taste some of the wonderful food on offer in the city. I highly recommend the tour and will be returning to Lucca!

We very much enjoyed our introductory tour of Lucca. What better way to get to understand a city, then through it's history, culture, and food. Delita, our guide, did a very good job of guiding us through a walking tour of the city, while pointing out the reason for the walls, and buttresses, while also exposing us to "local'' sweets, and a traditional lunch of olives, bread, and cured meats.

Diletto was a wonderful guide and very informative. She has a passion for her city - deservedly so. Lucca is a beautiful walled city. We definetly want to come back and stay over a few days. So much to see. My only regret was having to leave.

My husband and I wanted to do something different from the typical hop in a vehicle and drive all around type tours. We booked Flavours of Lucca and were not disappointed. It ended up being a personal tour with an amazing tour guide, Chiara. She walked us around Lucca, and was a wealth of information, as well as friendly, funny and personable. We stopped at many points along the way and had many delicious tastings. We did not need lunch after this tour! Lucca has an amazing history, so it is fantastic for people who are interested in historical experiences without the crushing crowds. Lucca also has delicious food, so it's interesting for foodies!

Was an incredible tour with Borana. My family originally is from this small town, so it was great having a guide bring it to life and show us around. Would highly recommend, especially that desert we have with the pistachio cream!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Lucca Russo. He was an excellent guide and told us many things about Lucca and Tuscany - and even discussed the olive trees and grape vines grown in the region. We sampled many types of food and sweets and ended with a nice lunch of antipasti and breads and wine. Lucca even took photos of our group and sent them to us after the fact. I would rate this tour the best of any we took in Italy!

Our tour guide, Chiara, met us as instructed, spoke excellent English, and guided us through Lucca with appropriate and interesting commentary on the history, culture, architecture, and food of Lucca. She offered tips on other tourist opportunities as well as suggestions for good places to eat, including gluten free options where needed. Her personable approach made the tour a lot of fun for us.
