The history and culture...

The history and culture stories of the island. The food was good too along with the people and the atmosphere.

Left this boring disappointing event early
, Sep 2021
We left awful event half way through. There was nothing entertaining about this experience. Everyone looked bored. They should have it run as a two hour program. Nothing of interest happened during the first two hours. It was a major disappointment and an overpriced mistake.
Nope. There are better places!

This luau was just OK. The start time is questionable! They tell you to be there at 4:30/5:00 but don't start until 6 (it's over at about 8). You're waiting outside directly in the sun until it starts. The drinks are watered down and the food is OK (they are served buffets style and is stuck on the fire until its served to you...pretty dry when it hits your plate). The photos are $30 a piece but $40 if you want it DIGITALLY printed. There are better luau's on the Island. For the cost we paid here, this one wouldn't be my second or third option.

This luau was amazing. They teach you about the history of the island and the food is great and plenty. The ambience is amazing. Very smooth streamlined process.

My First Luau
, Oct 2019
This was my first luau, so I have nothing to compare it with. I had a wonderful time. We were greeted with flower leis, the facility itself was beautiful, and the vibe was friendly. There were local vendors selling their goods at reasonable prices. I tried a little of everything from the buffet table and everything was fresh and delicious. The show was fabulous and the MC did a wonderful job. The only criticism I have is with the pina coladas and mai tais--they could have been more flavorful. I understand they were serving a lot of people quickly, but I would give the drinks 3 stars. Overall, I would recommend this luau.

Good Luau
, Aug 2019
The show and food were very good but , it was very short, and expensive. I had other experiences in Kona and Lahaina and the interaction with the public was much more fun. Overall it was ok. Would not choose this one again.
Funny and great food, Show was lacking some wow and awe
, Aug 2019
Dancing was limited, would have liked to see more hula from the women. The fire sequence was over before you knew it. Some really funny parts of the show that kept me smiling and laughing, and the food was delicious. Show overall was just eh.
Fun time
, Aug 2019
Gorgeous setting, delicious food, good show. I would recommend. My only suggestions would be to have a few more activities prior to the show. Other Luaus have spear-throwing, and canoe rides. Also, keep the activities that are available open just a little longer. Face painting for example was closed far too quickly.
