Star is great but Viator is a rip off
, Jun 2021
The star is a great way to see the city of Melbourne. However, I strongly recommend that people DO NOT buy tickets through VIATOR as it’s cheaper to buy directly from the STAR. I paid approximately $20 more through VIATOR. An absolute rip off.
Boring. Terrible position.

None of it. It's in a terrible position directly over some of the ugliest parts of the city. Totally underwhelming.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to review us. Melbourne Star is proud to be located in The District Docklands which offers not only a view of the city skyline, but showcasing Melbourne's ever changing industrial dexterity as well - especially at night, when you can see the sparkling city skyline and suburban lights twinkling in the distance. We're sorry to hear that we didn't quite meet your expectations this time around, but we still hope to see you again! Kind Regards, the Melbourne Star Team

We have been on the Star during the day and night-time was fabulous and a totally different experience. Enjoyed both times immensely. Staff are always extremely friendly and courteous and knowledgeable. Difficult situation me leaving the mobile with booking details at the apartment but no trouble for the staff.

We went to the Skydeck in the morning and the Star at night. Would prefer the Skydeck over the Star. Resultantly - Only plus was that we had the entire capsule of the Star for ourself whereas the Skydeck was crowded.
