James was a terrific tour guide, super passionate and knowledgeable. The tour weaves you in and out of amazing Art Deco buildings, including lobbies and rooftops. There are great photo taking opportunities but it’s the nuggets of info and anecdotal stories that are most memorable. You leave far smarter than you came and enthralled by the architectural gem that is Miami Beach.

I drove fifty miles one way to go on this tour. I parked my car at a cost of $16.35. I get a phone call from the tour operator the tour is cancelled and I could take the tour at 5.00 PM seven hours later. I told them I could not spend seven hours doing nothing. I asked for reimbursement for the cost of driving at fifty cents a mile but I was rejected.

Mr. Talluri Balaji We are sorry to read this review after our conversation and attempts to reach you and offer later tour. Our office did contact you via phone and email multiple times starting at 830am (tour start was 10am) to advise of the cancellation due to a possible COVID emergency. Unfortunately we could not reach you. And more unfortunate is the fact that as a tiny company we do not have extra staff. As a matter of fact we proudly hire senior citizens who are excellent guides. But they are most vulnerable during this pandemic. The safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority. This incident is quite rare as evidenced by our consistent rave reviews. Emergencies can occur. You were of course refunded immediately. If you'll recall when we spoke, we were relieved the weather was very nice (after so many rainy days) and there are many other activities and wonderful museums in South Beach. So much to explore for an entire day. We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit.

This was an absolutely wonderful tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time. The reason this is not getting 5 stars is because of the tour company that manages this tour. We were planning on going with a group of friends who had booked the tour for Sunday. They pre-booked, so I went in to add myself to their group but accidentally hit the booking for Saturday. I promptly emailed the company asking them if they could move me to the following day. They refused, saying it would be above capacity (it was a group of 4 and capacity is 10). I asked them if I could get a refund and they refused. Only when I called them out on it and said I knew the group who had booked for sunday and it was only 4 people, did they let us book. In total, we were a group of 6, well under the limit of 10. The company tried to take advantage of us and our mistake and lied to us. Wonderful tour but dishonest company.

Hello Brendan, There seems to be a big misunderstanding. We apologize if this was not made clear when you wanted to change your reservation. Allow us to clarify. Due to the pandemic (and rise of Covid19 cases in Miami) we were only accepting one client up to 10 people. With our policy we do not permit changes within 24 hours. When you initially mentioned you wanted to make a change you had not originally indicated you were part of the client group on Sunday. So yes there would be no refund or last minute changes. Nor were we accepting new clients on Sunday. Upon learning that you were part of the group on Sunday then yes we could make the change and so we did. I hope this clarifies. Customer service is important as well as the safety of our guests. We had to adjust the tours and limit the number of customers during Phase I of the city's regulations during the pandemic. Aside from the misunderstanding we are glad you enjoyed your South Beach Art Deco Walking Tour. Be safe.

The guide had a very strong Cuban accent which did make things difficult at times in the crowded, noisy street. And he did go on an overlong diatribe at the beginning of the tour about Cuba and the Cuban influence . That aside, it was very enjoyable. Viewing a few more buildings would have made it even better .
