The drive offers views along the way of Monaco, Nice and Villefranche, and finally deposits you in the Medieval town of Eze, sitting roughly 1,400 feet (427 meters) above the Côte d'Azur.

Enjoy some free time in picturesque Eze to browse the small shops and galleries. Learn about the art and science of making perfumes with a guided tour of the Fragonard perfumery.

Return to Monaco to continue your tour in this little principality, passing the charming town of La Turbie en route. It's called the 'Terrace of Monaco,' and is home to an ancient Roman monument called the Trophy of the Alps (Trophée des Alpes) built in the 1st century BC by Emperor Augustus.

Join your guide to watch the Changing of the Guard in front of the Prince's Palace (Palais Princier) and on a tour of the town in which the palace sits. It's sometimes called Monaco-Ville, sometimes just The Rock (Le Rocher). Enjoy some free time here to shop, take in the views or stop for lunch (own expense). We had a friend ill in the ship hospital and did not get any help refunding her portion with any of the trips planned through Viator even though we attempted to email and call in advance. This tour of Eze was mostly a perfume factory tour.....which would not have been our choice. We did not get to see the shops at Eze because of the time spent selling us local perfume and lotion! We would have customized a trip there much differently. The guide was pleasant and accommodating but the day was lackluster overall. This local company waited on the last two people in our group and called to check on them rather than leaving them behind. Liven Up is an excellent local company but we still would have preferred to have a direct number to our guide.

It was a terrific day tour of Monaco and Eze. Our Liven up,tour guide, Moumen, was very good. He explained the history and current culture of each area. He allowed us time to take in the sights. I would have liked more time in Eze, a truly spectacular hidden gem. Monaco was beautiful as well. Viator representative, Lika, was very helpful in accommodating our small 9 person group and finding us a vendor for our date of service. Highly recommend if have limited time in area and want to explore for a day.

Had a wonderful experience in Monaco. Tour was very inclusive and varied. Our guide Thierry was exceptional with knowledge and language. He was very courteous, and obliging in every way. He took us from the Marinas to the mountains to the Pink Palace, to markets. We felt we knew Monaco a whole lot better after our day with him. He even waited patiently while we were in the perfume factory, which was a highlight for us, also EZE, so ancient and beautiful. Many, many thanks for a very memorable day. This was a great tour! There were only three of us and our guide Luic was able to tailor the trip to meet our interests. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We saw quite a bit during the day and hit all of the highlights of Monaco. I especially enjoyed exploring Eze and the view from the very top of the hill. This trip was a great way to see a lot in a single day!
