Overview
See some of Australia's most famous native animals at Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, which is conveniently located on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne. The sanctuary shelters kangaroos, koalas, Tasmanian devils, crocodiles, and more on the 25-acre (10-hectare) grounds. Make your own way to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, situated about one hour's drive from Melbourne.
More than 60 species native to Australia reside at the sanctuary, including about 80 kangaroos and wallabies that roam free in the bush, and others that are housed in large natural enclosures. Waterbirds populate the wetlands, and colorful parrots flit through the air, including the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot. The sanctuary also protects red bellied pademelons, southern bettongs, spot tailed quolls, and Tasmanian devils.
Ten keeper presentations and wildlife shows take place daily, and you can meet other animals up close.

Itinerary
Moonlit Sanctuary is home to over 70 Australian species. Including over 60 kangaroos and wallabies that are free to roam the bush and give visitors a rare natural encounter, while others are housed in large natural enclosures.
The critically endangered orange-bellied parrot, red-bellied pademelons, southern bettongs, spot-tailed quolls and Tasmanian devils are all protected at Moonlit Sanctuary, a winner of the Victorian Tourism Awards in Ecotourism.
Open every day of the year except Christmas Day from 10am to 5pm. A ticket buys admission only for visitors finding their own way to Moonlit Sanctuary by private car or other means. Your ticket includes the daily keeper presentations and wildlife show as well as the chance to get close to iconic Australian wildlife in natural bushland surroundings.
Moonlit Sanctuary is proud to be ecotourism accredited by Ecotourism Australia and animal welfare accredited by the Zoo Aquarium Association.
