What a wonderful way to be introduced to a city abroad! Stefano was incredibly knowledgable, and his love for his city shined throughout the experience. We learned so much and loved getting acquainted with the city alongside one of its wonderful residents. Sandra was very informative and knows her history. She has only lived in Munich for 3 years and already has gained a lot of knowledge on the City. She had a plan of everything she wanted to show us and did a great job explaining everything. Our tour went into the evening and she had many photos to go with the stories of the history that occurred in many of the locations.

Experience with a local... Not a tour guide.

This was a pleasant time. The guide we had was a really sweet girl. She tried her very hardest to keep us engaged and interested. It was a difficult for her because much of the city was cut off due to Oktoberfest parades and she was not prepared for that. Understand that you are with a local, not a tour guide. The benefit is that you can tweak as you go to make sure the experience is your own! In retrospect, I would have requested someone more in common with mine and my husbands ages. Our tour guide was 19 and so couldn't provide the recommendations for restaurants, bars, etc and insight that I had hoped, but next time I will just request someone older. Let me reiterate, our guide was so eager to please us and tried really hard. She was ontime and flexible.
