Biscuit making blast!
, Oct 2021
Such a great experience! MaryAnn was funny, charming, and entertaining! Learned great tips on making biscuits. Had so much fun meeting people from other States and best of all, the biscuits tasted great!
Highly Recommend!!

My friends and I were all in agreement that this baking class was one of the best parts of our trips to Nashville! Located just right outside of the city, it is a great way to escape the craziness of downtown to get a more authentic southern experience. MaryAnn was a fantastic teacher, she made the class so much fun and had so much energy. I would highly recommend giving this experience a try. Especially if you are into baking and tasting fantastic biscuits.

Thank you for taking time to recommend my biscuit class to other travelers to Nashville. I always say, learning how to bake a homemade Southern biscuit is the very best souvenir you can take home. My class is so much fun for me; because of the good hearted people it attracts. Thanks again. :)
Highly Recommend - Would Do It Again!

Maryann was a great hostess and instructor! She gave excellent tips and advice for making your biscuits your way. Booked this class for a girls' trip and we truly enjoyed ourselves! Thank you Maryann!
Lost Art of Biscuit Making Found!
, Aug 2021
The most memorable part of my experience was the educational presentation from Ms. Maryann. I like the way she educates the class on do's and don'ts but its all going to be okay. The biscuit making was fun and delicious. Biscuit making is a lost art but we found an artist in Nashville! Thank you Mrs. Byrd for making our experience so comfortable, fun and informative!

Sherry, I'm glad you keyed in on the educational aspect of my class. Biscuits are fun, but I do like to give visitors a bit of the cultural and historical aspect of the Southern biscuit. Knowing the backstory makes the Southern biscuit even more special. Thanks for the kind words. :)
Biscuit making in Nashville
, Jul 2021
We came to Nashville for a little family vacation. I found the Southern Belle Biscuit class on Viator and decided it would be a fun activity for us. Boy, was I right. Maryann was the perfect instructor. She kept us entertained with stories and she made the most delicious biscuits. Everyone in the class was also able to make their own biscuits to take home. I would recommend this class to anyone visiting Nashville. You will have a wonderful time and get to sample some yummy biscuits.

I'm so happy you and your family had a good time learning how to bake Southern biscuits in my class. For me, the joy is watching people who are friends, family, even co-workers bond over baking. It is a real thing! I appreciate you taking time to send a kind word.
A fun time

We enjoyed the demonstration of making biscuits. They were delicious and Mary Ann was so funny. She also gave us a chance to prepare our own biscuits.

I do love baking biscuits for all of you..and glad you sense that. For me, the best part of my class, is seeing all of you baking your biscuits together. That means the art of Southern biscuit baking will live on in your kitchen, and that's my goal. :). Bake on.

A Biscuit to Brag About
, Apr 2021
I booked on a whim to do something fun with me and my girlfriend and didn’t regret it one bit! Maryann made the experience a blast, lifted by her outgoing personality, quick humor, and clear expertise. She started the class by walking the group through her tried and true biscuit blueprint, perfected by her years of baking and her journalistic curiosity to interview the bests in biscuitdom. She incorporated biscuit hallmarks and experimental features all the way through, detailing how we can augment our own recipes to make our own jaw droppers. The experience was delicious and engaging, with enough attention to detail to make sure we will be able to make biscuits in our own and enough fun to make us want to come back and try her other classes when we come back to Nashville! I highly recommend.
