Meeting Angela and hearing about the history and food of the New Orleans area. The food was great and we visited a small local place I would have missed. She also pointed out local art vunues and gift shops

The gumbo was very good, we loved all the food! We think if you added one cocktail per restaurant that would be better.

Great Tour and Guide!

We loved the food tour! Our guide Angela was great, she was very knowledgeable and funny! She was able to make things work when there was a wait at one of the restaurants, but luckily this happened only once. She took us to places that were “off the beaten path” that we usually would never find ourselves! Angela was engaging, sharing a lot of the New Orleans history and legends with us and going way beyond just the food. She went out of her way to give us recommendations for other activities as well, and had a hot tip for frozen Irish coffees from Molly’s at The Market (amazing!) where we ended up making a stop during the tour. The portion sizes were huge! We were stuffed at the end of the tour. I chose this company because of the good reviews, and I’m so glad I did! I highly recommend this tour and Angela!

Fun and intimate food tour

My wife and I really enjoyed the intimate nature of this tour and the care that was taken to select restaurants that were unique and meaningful to our tour guide. We especially enjoyed Evan's Creole Candy Factory, where we got to taste authentically-made pralines, and Loretta's Authentic Pralines, where we got to taste amazing beignets. The history that was shared made this more than eating. We highly recommend this tour.

Rene was very knowledgeable. The tour was not too long. Enjoyed Loretta’s beignets. They are better than Caffe Du Monde.

Great food, wonderful guide

Hello! My husband and I took the French Quarter Food tour and absolutely loved it! We were so surprised by foods that we thought we would NEVER eat and tried them and loved them. Example, alligator! Our guide, Rene, was wonderful! He is a local and knew all of the "little" places that serve great food. It was a very rainy, drippy, day and we didn't even care, because, we were having such a great time. Rene was also a great resource for food choices after we finished the tour. KUDOS!

Very good

Angela was a great guide. She was very friendly and interactive with the group and had lots of information on the food we were eating as well as other food places to try and things to do. The food was SO good! My boyfriend and I were uncomfortably full, which was the entire point of taking the tour. We really liked that she took us to places that served the food New Orleans is known for but were not overrun by tourists. For example, we had beignets at a stand in the French Market called Loretta's instead of going to Cafe du Monde for them. We later went to Cafe du Monde to try their beignets and the ones at Loretta's were so much better. The tourist places must have dulled down their food for ease of production. If you want to hit the stereotypical New Orleans places, this tour isn't for you, but if you're trying to eat some GOOD New Orleans food this is the tour you want.
