I enjoyed this excursion solo, so if you’re contemplating same I highly recommend! This was a beautiful and serene adventure and not at all what I expected of a swamp!

Nice weather. Saw some egrets and turtles but not much else. Guide was on just her seventh trip and did not know much at all

Great activity for literally any age that can sit on their own. Our teenagers gave it a 10! You're one one with nature and really FUN!

It was a gorgeous trip through the bayou. While it was a little on the chilly side, we were still able to see a baby alligator and multiple turtles sunbathing. It was such a surreal experience.

Jesse our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We teased him and he teased back. Very enjoyable trip. Not strenuous at all.

Perfect Escape from the Quarter Debauchery
, Jan 2020
My friend and I signed up for this tour so as to have one activity that didn’t involve eating or drinking while in New Orleans. We found it very worthwhile! Our guide, Gertie, was laid back and fun, but still imparted a good deal of information about this ecosystem and conveyed his passion for the surrounding environment. The company was also very accommodating, in terms of rescheduling for weather and making sure we felt comfortable with our choices. And they offered a shuttle from the French Quarter, which is extremely helpful if you find yourself sans vehicle. The tour itself was very entertaining. It was a great way to get some exercise (for something other than our livers) and experience the natural beauty of New Orleans. Though we would’ve loved to see more wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed being out on the water and taking in our surroundings. Also, the company was very upfront about how the winter weather would affect animal sightings, so we knew this going in. No alligators, but plenty of egrets and tons of fun!

Amazing tour!

We had Gerty as our tour guide and he did such a good job of keeping the tour fun, informative but also not super hoaky. I did it with my partner and it managed to be a fun group tour but also a great thing to do as a couple. Cannot recommend enough, and the bayou is beautiful
