Your tour returns to the starting point in the French Quarter.

Interesting outing for an adult audience

Like most haunted tours in New Orleans, these tours are really not about “touring” or seeing a lot, but rather are all about the stories the guide tells. I enjoyed the guide, who was knowledgeable and a good speaker who told interesting stories. They had a deal with a nearby bar, so we were able to get 2-for-1 Hurricanes (alcoholic beverages) and bring them with us on the tour. The tour starts at a cool voodoo shop, so you can do a little souvenir shopping if you show up early. The tour is about two hours and completely standing/walking, so I wouldn’t recommend this for folks who aren’t capable of standing that long. The tour guide (like many N.O. tour guides) does use some curse words, so just take that in mind when booking for kids. The scary stories are very dark in nature, which is fun but may not be suitable for younger audiences...but I guess that’s obvious.

Wouldn't recommend it

A lot of suggestions on where we could go to see the things that were talked about during tour. Some interesting things but not happy with the price of $25. We could have Googled these places and read about them ourselves for free. Not impressed and would not do this again.

Thank you for your review, although it was very vague. The Haunted History Ghost Tour takes participants to several different sites associated with actual, documented hauntings. I'm not sure what you are referring to with your first sentence since you ARE seeing the locations that we talk about on the tour. Yes, you can always google the stories that we show you on the tour but you won't have a licensed tour guide providing you with their knowledge throughout a 2 hour tour of the locations. Most people who take our tours consider the $25 price to be a pretty good value!

Our guide was Aria who was very knowledgeable and energetic. Unfortunately, due to the humidity even though the tour started at 8pm, we left the tour at about halfway. Interesting facts and surrounding architecture.

This was a great tour! We had thought about doing a carriage ride but glad we didn’t because it was basically the same information as far as we heard. Olivia our guide was great and very knowledgeable and a lot of fun! The only thing I missed was the haunted bar.
