Our guide was excellent, but the tour itself was disappointing. We only went to one jazz venue. I think our guide picked the one with seats available. We expected to go to several different venues. We could do this on our own. Didn't need a tour for this. We did not get to see much of Armstrong Park because it closed early due to Standard Time. Suggestion is to start earlier when not on Daylight Savings Time.

As our guide said, you never know what you're going to hear on any given night, but we DID get a great tour of several different jazz bars and saw places and heard music we never would have on our own. It was a real highlight of our trip and I hated to see the end of our jazz tour come. The guide was kind enough to recommend a great place for us to eat dinner in the area following our adventure.
