Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. However, when reading the details of the tour, you failed to mention that most of the time would be spent outdoors when we thought it would take place in the theatres. It was extremely cold which made it very unpleasant and difficult to enjoy.

Absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who loves theater history, who loves New York Broadway experiences and who loves Disney! The tour guide was amazing and an aspiring Broadway star! Enjoyed all of the history and fun facts. The backstage tour of the New Amsterdam was amazing, the ghost stories, and my teens actually put their phones down and got excited about trying on the Disney costumes.

This was a great way to learn more about the history of Broadway and hear some behind the scenes information. Our guide was aspiring actress Eloise, whose Australian accent made her comments especially enchanting. Be sure you hang in there for behind the scenes experience at the Amsterdam Theater where you learn the history of the theater and why Disney became a partner in the renovation. The grand finale is some time in the wardrobe room where you can try on some of the costumes used in the various Disney productions. Only caution, is this is primarily a walking tour, so individuals with limited mobility might find it difficult; children under 8 years might not enjoy the early part of the tour. Overall highly recommend!

The tour guide was excellent but I was disappointed in the content of the tour. Our 13 year old grand-daughters and daughter were with us. I feel there was too much focus on the history of Broadway in general. It could have been encapsulated in a 15 minute talk. The interesting info like the cost of advertising ( Schubert Alley) could have been shared while we walked by instead of stopping. The gamd of questions was time consuming but unnecessary. We took the tour to see Beyond the magic and yet we spent the least amount of time doing that. We spent a little less than one hour in the actual Amsterdam Theater seeing the stage and then a limited supply of costumes......and the was the best part! Wondering why a quick stop to walk across the stage of Lion King or Frozen was not included?

We LOVED Disney Broadway Behind-the-Scenes! Ric was our tour guide and a true Broadway actor / insider. He gave us a fun and informative walking tour with lots of insider information. The New Amsterdam theater was beautiful, the Disney guides were great and we had so much fun taking photos with the Disney Broadway props and costumes! FUN! FUN! FUN! Do this one!
