Lady Liberty touched my soul

Walking right up at the base of the statue was quite thrilling. I enjoyed taking shots of Lady Liberty who was so much more beautiful in person. I enjoyed the gardens and learning about the history in the museum. Wish we could have entered the statue.

There was no indication where this tour group was at. Got in the regular line for tickets and by the time they directed me to "the stairs" there was no one there. Please refund my money

Kevin L is an awesome guide. He and Maya were polite, informative, funny and all-out bosses in our tour. With Kevin’s knowledge of history, we learned much of everything (and more) than the short movies offered by the island’s museum. Highly Recommended!

Sara Long was the best tour guide, loved her stories of both Lady Liberty and Ellis Island and so appreciated her photo taking skills. Only disappointment not Sara's fault was my not being able to take nephew up into Lady Liberty like I had experienced.

Great tour but hard to locate

This tour was great for many reasons but also difficult for other reasons. We arrived early and good thing we did. It was difficult to locate where to go. Viator tour guides could do a better job with big signs of where to go and get your tickets. My friend and stood in line to get through just to find out the email wasn’t enough. We needed to walk around Battery Park, looking for the person with our tickets, clueless of how they look like. We asked for guidance from people nearby who may know. If we arrived on time, by the time we would have found the person with our tickets, we would have missed the tour. It was a scorching hot day. The walk around tour took 30 minutes. Learned a lot but due to the heat, it was challenging to listen as we felt dehydrated and exhausted from heat. It would be helpful if tour guide had a microphone or megaphone to talk into. Some things were missed simply because you’re in the back and can’t hear it all. The ride on boat was great but shaky. We didn’t get off onto the islands but loved watching from the boat. The tour guide did a great job giving direction before letting us get on the boat.

Kevin L was great! He was knowledge and had a great sense of humor. He kept our group engaged and was patient when several travelers were late at the meeting place.
