Ellis Island, United States
After meeting your guide on the southern tip of Manhattan, board the ferry. Enjoy your early Reserve Line Access boarding to avoid the crowds. During the ride to Liberty Island learn about the history of the famous statue and learn about how perceptions of Lady Liberty have changed over the decades and generations.

Once on the island, take a guided tour of the Liberty Island grounds.
Take in the sights of the New York skyline as well as New Jersey and Ellis Island. Access to the Liberty Island Museum is included. If you've upgraded, head into the pedestal of the statue and then up to the observation decks for a superlative view of the surroundings.

After some time, hop back on the ferry and cruise over to Ellis Island, as your guide give you the historic low-down on the millions of immigrants that passed through here between 1892 and 1954.

After reaching Ellis Island, explore the place deeper with your guide by wandering around the Great Hall and taking in the exhibitions that explain further about the 12 million people that passed through here. Learn also how Americans can trace their ancestry here.

You are on your own for the remainder of the visit, staying as long as you want before you return to Manhattan.

Great tour despite COVID restrictions

Easy to find the starting point. Very accommodating of my mother’s wheelchair. Extremely knowledgeable. Took a better picture of my family in front of the Statue of Liberty than what was being sold by the professionals.

Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Tour

Our tour guide was Nicola. His instructions on meeting him were spot on. Nicola was remarkably knowledgeable, informative and extremely entertaining. My wife and I really enjoyed our two hour tour to the Liberty Island with him. Nicola gave us great tips on our tour of Ellis Island. I highly recommend him as your tour guide! The highlight of our tour was to personally meet the keeper of the light of the statue of liberty! Recommend to book your tour first thing in the morning as you beat the noon crowds. Liberty and Ellis Islands were desolate and our tour felt very private.

Cody was very knowledgeable and gave interesting talks. I highly recommend this tour. However I did not realize you had to have a ticket that needed to be purchased 4-6 months in advance to have access to the torch.

The Highlight of Our Stay in N:ew York

Everyone needs to see this piece of history. I would also recommend paying for a tour guide. Ben was our guide and was outstanding. He added so much to it and the fact he had researched his great-grandparents passage through Ellis Island was a huge +. Ben made the tour real personal and couldn’t have been more helpful. When you book this tour, ask for Ben.
